so I think I read this when i was 14? It was one of the first smut manga I had ever read. somewhere along the line I deleted the review i had for it but not the rating which was 10 so I must have really liked it. in general I can see why one of my favorite story types back then and even know was rivals falling in love. I kinda like the plot of the guy being perfect and the girl desperately trying to beat him. to me it helps give the girl character they are usually ambitious and determined and fiercely competitive and i love those quality's in a heroine. just because the girl is quick to react dose not mean she lacks books smarts, though maybe she might lack common sense but thats a whole different thing. I know it is easy to dismiss those who violently lash out as less intelligent but some simply do not have the social skills and in her case it endeared me to her. it does come of a bit childish. but to be fair they actually are young. I know we tend to expect a bit more maturity in smut and often forget that these characters are only in high school. I was probably just as obnoxious when I was in high school. i enjoy the art but he portions sometimes need a little weird. like the eyes and the hands. it is childish writing though and as much as I like the lead girl she is a bit over emotional. she yells a lot but i wouldn't say she is a cry baby. i just finished reading a manga with a serious cry baby who seemed to be crying on every page so this is definitely nothing. I think it is something you need to read yourself to decide weather or not you like it.

I hate this type of manga the girl is weaker than the boy and he always gets the best of her then she gets her chance to beat him. Like really? Why is the girl weaker its so annoying and Why are they rival?if u like this

i'm sorry but your point, keturah, sounded like an insult to manga. there are a lot of other mangas out there that delivered comedy and romance differently and a lot better than this one. maybe you can just suggest another type manga?

Why is everything always the main girls fault? The guy seems to be right about everything. She always lets herself fall into the most retarded situations. This is all a load of shit. The only good thing about this is that I played the guessing game with each scene, predicting what would happen at certain points. Its kinnda sad. I never felt so bad about being right.

Lather, rinse, repeat
One description of a series that applies to this one. There are so much better that can do so much more with the same lame cliches.
After 3 chapters, I couldn't take any more.

i don't mind (as much) stupid girls who are obviously stupid but stupid girls masquerading as smart girls make my teeth grind. she was no different from any other idiotic twit who did nothing but react. A smart girl tries to use reason to make good choices. Every turn we see this girl doing stupid things without any kind of thought. Or being confused and befuddled by something some else did and staying IN her confusion without any kind of positive action. She got on my nerves. A stupid girl is bad enough, but if she's smart enough to maintain an inn and second in her year, where's her common sense?
