i am not very open when it comes to some of the scenes shown in the manga... But i loved it.
Even those parts that i don't normally like i came to enjoy them, i could not be angry. Jamal is quite a character and he slightly changed towards the end (imo) making it even better. Btw the sex parts were -as expected from the artist- aamazing ^_^ and thankfully it was a nice end.

This Yaoi manga just had everything that I wanted ^^ Knights, graphic yaoi, a manly yaoi couple...what's not to love. I can't wait to read the rest of it, definately one of my favourite yaoi's that I've ever read

You can call me an outdated/old-fashioned fangirl but I'm the type that always biased toward the uke so it's easy for me to hate on this unloyal seme! Not only he continued to have sex with other people after meeting the uke, he also still had feeling for others beside the uke... I can try to ignore the unfaithfulness if it's only body but betraying in mind is unforgiveable...

It seems like the uke had threw away everything he has even his pride to fall in "love" with the seme, but what he received is not sth really equal.

This is a set up as a classic "Stockholm syndrome" historical fantasy story, however, the main character Leonard, does not give in and is a strong uke. Jamal is not a horrible person and has an interesting personality. There is character development in the second volume (which is done beautifully in a digital copy by 801 Media). I was very happy with the entire story!

The artwork is beautiful and exquisite, which goes along very well with the palaces and knights portrayed in the manga.

The plot is action packed and never boring. The rape isn't hardcore, but the sex is definitely well-displayed! I never found anything in this manga to be disgusting or absurd, not the personalities of the characters or the dialog. You will love this manga!! Read the second volume!! It's worth the buy!

The art is gorgeous but the story is... meh. I was actually hoping for more development but instead its more like a "rape, hump, hump, hump" kinda thing. It would be better if the author really emphasized Jamal's past though. The first chapter caught my attention and that was good enough for like a few chapters. Hopefully the series gets more chapters~ Overall it was a good quick read.

those who says "there's no chemistry" - should read it thoroughly.
anyway.. this manga is really makes a positive impression, even though it's a rape and imprisonment. don't just read it. look at the faces, emotions, sounds, etc. this is really awesome!

Attracted by the gorgeous cover, I was totally expecting something epic.

But no. Rape scene in first chapter? Ok, so it was hot. But I seriously doubt that anybody can just forget about the humiliation in the next chapter.
What's with the sex-drive everyone has? Oh and the incredibly disturbing relationship with the King? Gosh. Totally weird. It's like, nudity everywhere. So much that it's not hot anymore.

Read it when you feel like some smut. Feel free to drop it after the 4th chapter.

There is no chemistry between the two main characters. The art, although beautiful at times, looked wonky at others because of weird framing and angles. Everyone says it's "hardcore" because of the rape but honestly... I found it quite tame and almost vanilla. The humor's off and so is the romance. I didn't find myself hoping for Leonard to fall for Jamal at all; instead, I found myself wanting for the story to be over so I can read something more entertaining.

Maybe it was seeing all the high ratings and reviews, but my expectations for this manga crashed and burned after the first chapter. At the end, it's just another mediocre yaoi manga involving stockholm syndrome.

Although this is yaoi manga, I hope Leonard does not fall i love woth his rapist. He can forgive him, but not fall in love. Sir Francis was sick to attack him too. Overall the story was intereresting.
