This is one of the funniest things I've read in awhile. And to think something of this level actually happened? That just makes everything all the better. No wonder everything had a realistic feel to it. ha ha ha.

The fact that this story is based on a true story is just... something incredible.

No wonder why Molester Man gets frequent recommendations from veteran readers. This series is so... well, so great and unbelievably 'real' (and you know, by the word 'real', I do mean it). Mr Molester is just so innocent (when it comes to 'relationships' of course). The developments between girls and him are fast, but not insanely fast.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
someone before me stated the girls fell in love so fast. I agree. But one can 'like', well more than 'like' but not as deep as 'love', someone that fast, I guess. And the crush can be developed into love.

Molester Man is hilarious if you read many manga's (see below). Personally I laughed crying when I first saw the A#e waiter. I mean,... LOL. It's not the most touching story ever, or the most beautiful story ever. But... it really is oh so frickin beautiful and emotional just to think that this is what actually happens. (I wouldn't believe if there were more unbelievable stuffs though)

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Molester is honest, more like blunt. He said he wanted to had smex with these. He had desire and such. There wouldn't be a part like this in usual 'beautiful' dramas. He admitted he was selfish. He was cool as a real man.

Also, I'm here to confirm that things like that can actually happen. I, too, was once mistaken for a molester, but at that time the girl just ran away and I didn't follow (why would I? lol)

The artist did a good job pleasing manga fans. I found a lot of parodies funny, and I still couldn't understand some of them, presumably because I've never read the references. Anyway, I like the style of drawing. Although this series could probably be better if drawn with inks, this pencil style gives the story appropriate bright tone well.

Life rarely goes easy on you. The ending is hardly ever happy...

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
but sometimes it really is!

TL;DR: 'This guy's love is so earnest and... real'

Good, but not stellar

After seeing so many recommendations and the stellar ratings, I started reading this with extremely high expectations. Maybe because I'm a girl though, it didn't live up to my expectations.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
One of the moments I found most interesting in this series was when Mr. Molester solved his misunderstanding with Mr. Glasses. At that moment I had high hopes for Mr. Molester to make his very first guy friend in real life, which could result in all sorts of interesting interactions and discussions beyond what he got on 2ch. With that, the series would have been about how a shut-in eventually acquires a well-rounded life with both male and girl friends as well as a girlfriend.

Instead, this boy who never had friends, let alone a girlfriend, somehow found himself surrounded by Only girls, all of which eventually get over initial misconceptions and quickly befriend him. This process was quite enjoyable, until the other romance "routes" were added. At this point the series started feeling like a dating sim (not helped by the "choice A or B?" conversation formats). Despite the well-written moments (especially from Mr. Molestor's POV), the girls fall so easily and quickly in love with someone they only meet from time to time that I can't help but think that they must be Really horny or desperate for a boyfriend. This reinforced the feeling that they're mere dating sim targets (challenging ones, but ones to be "won"). I mean, they started as total strangers, but in 2 months 2 girls were ready to sleep with him?

I can see why guys would love this. This series gives shut-in guys a lot of hope, and the main male character is easy to empathize with, with many realistic (?) flaws portrayed in sympathetic light. However, the girls were not written on the same level: they were overall "girls who guys would like to date", but conveniently seemed to lack any decent guys in their life. And in the end, they felt like routes to be played through, albeit challenging ones, rather than real-life girls (who would likely need a lot longer to grow so intimate with a stranger otaku).

You'll experience a whole rainbow - no, make that a DOUBLE rainbow - of emotions while reading this. The art, while not the best, is still unique and meshes with the silly-awesomeness of this story. The characters aren't very developed, but the development while they go through the story is enough to bear without suffocating. The MC is very relatable to many guys. Yes, I mean you. And you. And me. 'A' I will seriously bend you over and hit you in the arse with a giant metal spoon if you skip this because it seems a little weird. Give it a chance and you won't be disappointed. 10/10. Good job 2ch, and thanks, YOKO.

Would have to say the art reminds me of Onani Master Kurosawa. And from there, i also learned not to underestimate a manga because of the drawing. For those voters who rates it 10, big chances you're an otaku too huh? biggrin I give it 10 so i'm one of you. And though it's quite different, i can certainly feel the main character. In short, epic.

I haven't written a comment for a manga in a long while, but this one deserves a comment. As they say in parts of the web, I came due to the title, I stayed due to the story. It really is a nicely paced story with good character progression and very nice control of drama and feel good moments. In addition, all the references and parodies make the comedy in this great as well. Definitely recommend for anyone, it was a genuinely a good read. Surprising, since I was intrigued by the strange title and wasn't expecting something serious. What a nice surprise.

You know, it's so different from any other piece. I'm at chapter 8 right now, and.. it's so cheering up to read this. Really, sometimes there is much more than your usual echi, boobs.. (what else do you mean> - you ask me), pretty face, soothing voice (really? more than that?), flirting, making eyes contact (you've completely lost me, sir=( ). I mean, sometimes all we need is to talk to someone about all and about nothing. When we can brush off all these masks we wear every day, when we can just be ourselves. I'd like personally thank YOKO (this particular piece's author) for bringing that nice feeling of which I had almost forgotten about and which is still somewhere in my heart.. this one and the other piece by the same author Onani Master Kurosawa, which also brings wonderful memories..
if your social life is a bit screwed up.. if you've lost some... taste, charm in life, than I highly recommend it to you. be happy!

I did not expect anything when I started reading this manga. It turned out to be really good. I was especially fond of the parody of JoJo and Baki and other manga. I suggest that you read this manga in one go. The art with the dialogue are superb in term of expression and timing, it will make you giggles to yourselves a lot. Although I found the characters' actions to be quite stupid and illogical, it does fit with people in reality. The protagonist is very cliche of Japanese standard, a wimpy guy, and I had some problems with the way he acted, but he is funny in his own way, and there are reasons to justify his behavior. I have more problem with Kansai though, I really like her throughout the manga, except only during the drama. As much as I understand her thinking, I am quite frustrated with her actions. Nonetheless, this manga has become one of the best in my opinions, and I will check other works from this mangaka

This manga is a lot better than other of the same categories, it is very funny, very addictive, very well paced. It is also very refreshing.
