No offence but teenage boy or girl might have a hard time trying to understand those stories. Or don't understand and think of it as of a boring, lazy paced one shots. They only seem to be simple. In reality they're touching, bitter-sweet stories about human life, about love problems, about hardships of being gay, about being rejected by society, about misery and hope that should've lost long time ago, but still smoulder somewhere deep in one's heart. There's drama, angst, misery, confusion, misfortune but also long awaited happy moments. It's just like in a real life.

Mangaka left a lot of space for a reader's reflections - as always, and for that I like sensei a lot. It's a pleasure for me, a reader, when I need to read between the lines, use my brain, when the story is not obvious. There are also things unspoken, some of them are shown as a metaphor - like those fishes laying together on the table, and what happened with the first one... just imagine. Be cautious, be perceptive and you'll truly enjoy this manga. I already reread this book. Twice ^^

What else? Stroboscope left me with the same strong feelings like Bara no Hitomi wa Bakudan . 1st story was the most serious and the most real life-like. Well, all of them were so real-life-like that it amazed me. I felt so sorry for Kazu-san... he's been yearning for a human touch, warmth, for even a mere glance for so long... he denied his right to be happy, to complain, lost all his hope and ended up as a pushover, but still somehow... well, you should find out by yourself. Enjoy!
