The description for this manga seemed very interesting. I thought it would be good, but I was so wrong. The pace of the manga is horrendous because everything happens way too fast. Instead of buildup and character development, the author just tells you what happened without showing us. People who are reading this will almost certainly agree with me if you try this manga.

Another thing I dislike is how to characters is introduced. Characters are introduced just to move the plot forward, and there is one character that wasn't introduced at all, but suddenly becomes friends with the main group. I just read chapter 10 and it just made me dropped this series because of how the author handled the fighting/action in the recent chapter. The enemies become fodders and aren't shown in the manga, the duo(s) we have knowledge of right now are supposedly strong without recognition, and the tone of the manga being dark, but fails because of the plot.

This manga should have gone to a different direction. I thought the story would be about the protagonist fighting his peers in duels and his opponent being surprise of his "Blaze." Maybe I will read this manga again once it's complete. I rated this a 4 because it might get better later on, but I doubt it.

Ch0 is a straight tease (not in sexy terms). It give you bits of pieces which will come about, if we(as a reader) choose to continue to follow this. Ch1 is the start of the actual story, so if you don't want a preview don't read ch0. The concept is unique the MC is (currently) bad@ss, but was weak before. So he seems to have a complex about his own strength, hence "could not protect need more power" style of manga.

I say it's interesting because his "power" comes in the form of a shield. This leads to his only form of offensive tech is physical (via fist fighting). And this is where we as a reader get a quick glimpse of his potential in Martial Arts. Still to early to rate but potential wise is 9/10 currently.

I just read the manga; chapter 0-1 and I'm lost, chapter 0 is suppose to explain his "shield" origins that didn't help much. Chapter 1 is way too fast you'll get confused to how everything was not explained properly; that's why we read chapter 1 to learn the basics if the series. I'm guessing chapter 2 will start expanding on luciful, weapons from the soul, and exceeds, plus the school(for those who don't read this genre it's all the above) I'm not liking the MC.
