Description

I think this manga is almost as good as a classic shounen romance.

This manga, despite having sex in almost every chapter, is not overly sexualized. The sex fits the story and helps the plot. In fact, there are shounen that use sex(appeal) in a much more haphazard, disgusting way.

Even weak people that do bad things are still sympathetic and portrayed as human beings, without dismissing what they did wrong. And if even if you might otherwise think such things are unforgivable, you'll get sucked into the forgiving, hopeful, atmosphere of the manga.

So don't be scared off by the tags.

This is a case of a manga not really having weak points, and compared to some of its contemporaries, I'd call it quite good. It's devoid of a lot of otaku-ish tropes that seem to be jammed in everywhere.

My score might be a little arbitrary. I know this manga is good, but I don't know how good it is. All I can say is that it's not as good as "X"(whatever awesomest manga I can think of), but I don't know how I'll feel with the passage of time. But I think it's worth reading. Despite all the drama, I find this manga soothing. There's a lot of breaking up or being turned down in it(even side characters get in on it), yet it's atmosphere is never dour or pessimistic. They all seem to grow with it.

I went into this manga expecting the worst(maybe to be hurt). I didn't even pay attention to the sexy art for a few volumes. I was probably bitter and not even aware of it(with manga and maybe relationships). To say I was pleasantly surprised... would be accurate, but that was just the start.

If you want to read it for the sexy art, it has that, plus a nice story, plus a nice atmosphere, plus it's soothing, plus sympathetic treatment of all characters.

Nozoki Ana is a pretty good series considering that the story has everything heartbreak painful pasts sudden realizations but still I kinda hate the fact that the main character is so ignorant since all he did was ignore his feelings but it gave a sense of innocence coming from my perspective

Just plotless porn that has nothing to distinguish itself form other similar borderline-hentai manga.
To be fair there are worse examples of softcore porn that is packaged as a erotic/romance manga but that is no excuse. I do not think that this is a comedy manga because it has no jokes or comedic situations just endless excuses to draw tits and call it funny.
Also how can a manga about artstudents have no talk about art ?
See what i meant when i say that there is no plot or reason to the story besides sex.

If you want to read a good manga about an artstudent that has a lot of sexscenes read Natsu no Zenjitsu instead or look at real porn.

As a girl, what kept me interested with this series was the "peeping" element. I was reminded of my high-school field-trips during the school-days & summer-time where I used to blackmail some guys and gals into doing some naughty stuff while filming every inch of their nervous selves. This manga reminded me of how amazing the feeling of dominating others felt like. Although, I began to realize how deceiving I was as well. You rarely see this kind of comedy influenced manga plot that drives a story towards hardships and drama. But sometimes you would begin to question if a real guy can be so naive in these sorts of situations.

I'm not sure if this series is good yet, I've read all the 89 chapters released up to now and found a lot of pros and cons but still can't decide whether it's good or bad in the end something just keep me wanting to read the next chapter to see how things will turn out although the last few volumes have been a little disappointing because it's focusing mainly on psychological drama ( mostly netorare ) and characters being "broken" and this made the series not advance in any direction whatsoever since all characters around the protagonists turn out to be either jerks with psychological issues or kind people that "break" when they find out about it and are discarded as support characters not making any appearance again even if they are on the same class as the protagonists. As of chapter 89 there was only one character which kind of keep his sanity and this would be the male protagonist's best friend but although he just asks for some time to forgive he doesn't make another appearance after that. The rest of the characters just disappear or "go back to hometown" or something like that... There are times when I wish the author would just progress the plot instead of always going around the same steps "Male protagonist starts new relantionship > All is good > People find out about the secret > Psychological drama > Male protagonist ends relantionship". I'm not gonna rate it but I'd recommend reading it yourself if you don't hate psycho drama.

critiquing manga works like Nozoki Ana is a bit agonizing. I was torn giving the manga a 7/10 because in my opinion, the drawing, plot, character depths were all present and yet; the manga still came up abysmally short of being great. I had a lot of expectations for this manga when the first few chapters came out in Japanese. To me, the story felt refreshingly new and the drawings itself felt clean and attractive. However, as the mangaka progressed through the story, the two protagonists became lost in an impossibly convoluted and unrealistic emotional drama. In just two volumes, the manga went from being promising to ordinary and unimpressive smut genre. its basically an alternative to a full blown hentai. I know that may sound harsh but it had to be said. Still, it deserves a read. the drawings are fantastic after all. In short the mangaka had the hook, line and the sinker, but he or she did not have the talent or the tenacity to reel in the audience with a great, continuing story.

I like this manga. It is entertaining. Fun to read.
The drawing of female characters is superb (I really like Ikuno Emiru character).

One point doesn't "click" for me is, (in my opinion) the author should make the male main character in this manga to be a man who can protect his virginity until he got a woman who really love him (I hope it is Ikuno). I found this male is like a 'sex-maniac'. Doing sex almost in every chapter.

It must be pretty good if this manga full of "doki-doki" scene. The scene where the main male character protect his virginity from female who want to have sex with him.
Damn he must be a very nice guy here. smile

Reading sex scene is fun (and made me hard bigrazz) but if it too much, boring.

Why are guys in manga always fags there's no guy in the world that would freak out cause a girl was spying on him through a hole well she masturbates. And also the picture she took who would give a fuck unless your supposed to be a monk, being seen on top of a girl ain't so bad. My girlfriend knows I cheat on her, I admit it may be wrong but I don't give a shit and neither does she, sex is completely different to love, besides love is a figment of the human imagination, sex is something you can actually see/feel.

Therefore going by facts, there are to many shitty manga's being serialized someone with real experience needs to start making them, I would but I'm shit at drawing, I admit it's something I could not do ever in my life, but I'd rather read them anyway, making a manga would be to much of a waste of time, fresh air is what mangaka's need.

It start out nice but by volume 3 it is predictable as hell.
Sure enough though the main character will drown in his lust as he has an infinite boner for his neighbor and by the end he will magically be in love with her. Come on son, bull.

It was kind of nice too because he got a girlfriend and he even resisted temptation but now the route has been set and this story is done. If you have read enough of these stories then you KNOW what I am talking about.

Rather entertaining.
Enough drama and tension, but not too much and doesn't try too hard to impress in
ways that would make it just look idiotic. Art is good, characters are not all that bad
and the plot is not transparent. Fills its expectations.
