The story is also average, but you keep expecting at least a good ending... and not even that is delivered. I would give this a 4 or 5 at most but Im giving a 1 to balance out the ratings which are already too high for this one

@konbanya the end is utter crap and it has nothing to do with the lack of happily ever after, as i have seen shitty HEA endings too. Itz just that the "romance" (if you can even call it so) is already garbage, and that ending makes it even worse and unsatisfying. The author is good at portraying garbage human beings I must say though.

@senyorita guess i wasnt the only one who saw its like a shoujo manga, but did you seriously expect the guy to confess to her? After she tells him goodbye because she will be busy lol, this shit aint serious. Well shes an orgy girl class of person after all.

I don't believe a reader should have to "get through" almost one third of the entire story before it starts to be an interesting story. That's what editors are for. Chop it for chrissakes. I don't care how amazing the story becomes, eight chapters of disjointed scenes and gratuitous sex with characters I don't care about wastes my reading time.

The first 6-7 chapters are essentially sex scenes without plot, character growth or emotional engagement. There are also lots of generic hentai phrases like 'I came all over her' and whatever. If you can get through these first chapters though, the story becomes quite interesting. The plot is basic, but the relationship development between the main characters is portrayed really well. I totally disagree with the reviewer who bashed the character development (though I can understand why he would hold this stance if he only read the first volume properly). Kano in particular is a fantastic character once she starts opening up and showing some emotional attachment. Her ascent from apathy and her relationship with truth are two of the most interesting aspects of her personality.

Personally I liked the ending. I wasn't too interested in the sex scenes between the side characters, but I understand the genre issue.

Yeah, the ending is absolute trash.

First of all, this isnt usually the type of manga I'd go for. No, its not about the exhorbitant amounts of TnA, or the sex. I'm not sure why it remained outside my peripheral vision to be honest, however I came across it quite on accident.

But what a ride. Binge read it in a day, and I'm so glad I did. I'm sitting here after the finale chapter wishing for a 2nd part, a continuation... to see where the main characters go from here.

This is certainly a must read, and if your not into smut, the story does go deep, there is ALOT of character development not seen in other places of its ilk.

Trust me, just read it.

Okay...so, the first thing to say about it is that it's not a Hentai series...it's Borderline-H, so, it goes on Smut category...
It's not a bad one...tells you a different kinda story, too simply...
Only con would be that Chapter patterns are quite similar...
There is hardly any romance or maybe my definition for Romance is something different...you may read it and see for yourself!!

for a hentai manga it actually has a good story so its a pretty good read unlike any other hentai thats cliched and just full of sex well here youll see romance

There are twists and revalations on par with the most amazing of plot turns in literature.

This story creates a romance under extreme circumstances whilst maintaining an original approach to traditional themes of forbidden love, master-servant relationship.

For those who were angry at thr ending, I would like to point out the scanlators enlightening comment:

The ending very well fit the japanese and asian aspirations of duty, responsibilty, and love regardless of circumstance. Though this may come in contrast with the western preferred endings of consummate gratification, I beleive the author wrote an absolutely wonderful story. Well done.

The smut scenes were wow.. Everything else was just weird.
