This series suprised me. Its suprisingly sophisticated for a series where the two main characters are going at it like bunnies half the time. And truthfully, as out there as the premises are, it still keeps the overall themes and chatacter interaction rather realistic. I think a lot of the fears of commitment and themes can be related to by most people that are no longer in grade school, even though the situations are exaggerated. And although it sometimes feels like it might degrade into cliché, it never does.

If you'd like to read something idealistic or flowery romantic, go read something else. If you'd like to read something full of sex, although this is, go read something else, because thats not where the enjoyment of this series lies. But if you'd like something a little different, then its definately worth reading.

This manga is definitely one of the better ones of the one I've read. I was the same old thing that has been recycled and reused forever. It you want something original then check this and other works by this author (like arigatou) out.

The thing I liked most is that I could not predict what was going to happen and that is rare.

Not a great manga, but I did find the themes to be interesting and managed to stick it out to the end. If you thought they where annoying wait till the end ^^'

Annoying Characters

I've tried to read this twice. The first time I couldn't get into the story and the characters seriously irritated me so I put it away for later since 1) sometimes the mood one is in can affect the reading experience, and 2) I usually finish whatever I start reading even if I don't like the story. The second time around, the characters still irritated me but I tried to force myself to keep reading... I finally gave up around the 4th volume.

The guy is too wishy-washy so I want to smack him upside the head; the girl is too flighty and seemingly ignorant to be cute... their interaction just grates on my nerves... *sigh* I'll finish this at a later date and update my comment...
