Shuichi Shindou is determined to take his band Bad Luck to the top of the Japanese pop charts. With his drive, talent, and satiny singing voice, he just might stand a chance. But Fate throws a wrench into his well-oiled machine in the form of a handsome stranger named Yuki, a romance writer with an attitude. Yuki is Shuichi's biggest critic, but as the two young artists gravitate towards each other, friendship, and perhaps something more, is sure to blossom.

A Comedic Gem
What's not to be said about this series? It's funny, witty, and a love story. The constant change of emotion between the characters keeps you laughing (along with the quick dialogue adds a touch of humor to those who understand it.) An easy manga to follow and even for a 'boys love' manga, it's soft and pleasent to read. The only downside is the ever changing art. Right when you get used to the look and feel, it changes a bit with each volume. (This is not necessarily a bad thing and only shows improvement in the artists ability on their character.) When it comes down to it, this will either make you laugh or cry. (Either you love or hate it. There is no in between.)
this manga knocks me off my feet, i can't stop laughing, really. i usually go for angsty stories, but this manga is awesome, it keeps me turning the pages
I had watched a some of the episodes a few years back. Then I was looking through my sister's manga and I found it on the shelf.I started to watch it again. Then shocked to see how short the anime was I started reading the books. The sad part was my sister had books 1-6 then 8.I went to a book store and they had all except vol.7.T-T.I couldn't help it,I skipped the 7th book and read the 8th.Now I will never know what happens(unless I get off my lazy ass and buy it.But I don't see that happening anytime soon)Loved the show and "some of the books"!
This is the yaoi-[shounen-ai] anime i first starting watching for the first time,it got me hooked in yaoi and now i have more than 200 mangas in my library!!!!!!!!!!>< i luv yu shuichi x yuki~you gotta love this, any fan of shounen-ai bl or yaoi, should know about gravitation, its the best anime/manga in the history of Boys Love and its the greatest thing yet=D~ Thankyou !! Murakami-sensei-yur work is awesome=D
this is hilarious its awesome and i just realised as u keep reading the artist's work gets better i compared with the first chapter and the latest from the sequel and i was SHOCKED Shuichi becomes so cute XD
I think Reiji was a bit exagerated and normally I would find Shuichi's personality annoying, but it's actually quite interesting to contrast Yuki's. I love the show, the romantic sweetness/wierdness between Yuki and Shuichi is great and all in all the story line is brilliant (albeit a bit exagerated).
it could be so mush better
To tell the truth I like it but it's a shame mangaka make it in a soap opera it could be good and raver intreegin story insted it's just soap (very brillyantely done but *(.
I really liked the Gravitation anime, so decided to read the manga also. I finished reading up to volume 7. Frankly, I wasn't impressed. The story is good, but I didn't like the art at all, and for me art is very important. The drawings were kind of sloppy and at times confusing. If you really want to enjoy the story of Yuki and Shuichi (and the story is very sweet , I recommend you watch the anime.
gravitation is so funny!! i luv it
it was the first yaoi manga i read and now i got tottally addicted to yaoi!! i nvr knew this was a yaoi manga until...well...you know...
This was the first manga I read, and I loved it. Even after reading many others I can still say it was fun, the plot was nicely developed, dramatic and serious at times, yet totally hilarious at other times. And yes, Shuichi is really annoying at times. And it's far better than the anime.
