Description
Haru visits Canada to spend the summer holidays in the woodland house of his strict, strong-willed mother, Haruko. There, she burdens him with the responsibility of caring for his younger adoptive brother - a wild and unruly little boy named Ren who trusts no-one and prefers to wander in the woods with Haruko's dogs rather than associate other people. Haruko orders Haru to 'civilize' Ren.

As the young man strives to teach Ren how to live in human society, their relationship gradually improves - so much so that Haru plans on taking his 'little brother' to Japan with him once he finds a job.

Unfortunately, fate has a cruel habit of interfering with one's plans...

I spend about 25AUD every two months to read one chapter of this - in Japanese. I can't even read Japanese that well! But yes, that is how good this manga is. The art is wonderful, if you liked Komatta you'll like this. If you were frustrated with the lack of action in Komatta, you will like this. Yes, the age gap between Haru and Ren is about 8 years, but it is a very sweet relationship. Nothing past kissing happens until later in the series, when Ren is 15 and Haru is 23. The manga seems to focus mainly on Ren and Haru and how their relationship develops.

EDIT: I think it's now completed because the most recent months release had "end" at the end of the chapter.

It's so adorable. I was a little hesitant with the shounen ai tag and seeing how one is so young, but once i started reading I was 'awww-ing' half the time. Haru having such a brother complex certainly perks up and interest and Ren is such a mature cutie. There's something about Ren's character that just makes him so likeable oh and if i may say I reckon that applies to all the ver significant characters so far even the twins ;D It's a very great read for those who seek brotherly love or father/motherly love ahahahaha.

I'm hoping there relationship doesn't turn into a sexual one. I'm not sure, it just doesn't seem right in this one, i have no problem with shota-con but golly, i think the story would be better if it stayed brotherly love. Haru's brother bothers me, because hes jealous of Ren, god knows why, he has to say such hateful things towards him goodness! Ren's only 13 for crying out loud! and Haru leaving Ren alone bothered me as well some of what he did just bothered me. Other than that the story is going great! The art is pretty, i have to admit i kept skipping this story because of the name, it makes it sound so cliche like some overly fluffy comic and then i looked at the cover, that made it look like a, as cookieslov3 said, ''Trashy Shotacon.'' Gave it a shot because of the high reviews, goes to show you cant judge a book by its cover.

I love the art! I also love the characters. At first I thought "How is this shounen ai? I mean it's an adorably story, but it's just brotherly love." Then I got to chapter two and realized Haru had quite a bit of brother complex. Still so cute. I can't wait for more.

Abe Miyuki has always astonished me with all of her works. The two characters are very likable, there is no way to hate them. Especially the display of affection that is shown at the manga, it can make you melt smile
Definitely cannot wait how to story will unfold and spill more details !
The artwork of the manga itself is amazing, the attention to details that are poured to the backgrounds and the pattern of the manga is very good. There is no need to even question the drawing, it's AH-MA-ZING !
I also think that the scanlation group is doing good job at editing the manga to make it looks pretty as well.
Definitely worth reading !

Hmmm I wonder how many volumes will there be. As with Abe-sensei's other works (my other favourite is her one-shot Home Sweet Home & komatta), there are part(s) of the story that make you melt and there are some parts that gives you heartache. Ren is a different from other children and although he doesn't talk much, you'll be able to understand and sympathize with him.

Haru's actions makes you angry at times. Although it's understandable for his circumstances, I still think he's cruel sometimes. Don't let me get to you ^^; much as I said that, I couldn't bring myself to dislike Haru. I actually cried somewhere towards the end of vol 3; I was really aching and it totally broke my heart.

I don't generally read shounen-ai, i'm more into yaoi, but the cute art compelled me to go on and check this manga!! The first few pages of chapter 1 kinda turned me off, but as the story continues, its pretty sweet!!
i'll definitely wait to read the upcoming chapters XD

Very very pretty art, the character not too sparkly but definitely shining, and the background just like coming out from real photos, beautiful.
The story looks promising, I hope with the turn event in the few pages end of chapter 1, it won't become a standard usual story.
Still haven't found co-relation with the title, may be explained in later chapters.
Staying for more chapter smile

the art is very cute, definitely! the story is rather unique too! the plot is great and the characters are very good! even if the age difference is big, at least Haru is not a big pervert, and his attitude is so nice. ren is soooo cute!! i can't say that it's very very good because when i post this, the only chapter that was scanlated is chapter one. but i don't think that this manga will be dissapointing. and i recommend it to you all!! a must read! XD

i hope this manga won't be linsenced or dropped till i hv read all of the chapter!

despite what the title, genre n the age diff between the main characters might suggest, this is not definitely not another trashy shotacon
I've only read ch 1 so it's hard to say, but so far, it does seem like one of those mangas with well-thought out plot, n not just an exquisite piece of eye-candy (but speaking of which, the art is quite amazing actually) the characters are so far very likable, the plot is not so fluffy, not so angsty either, there's humor here n there....
overall, I think it's definitely worth a read shounen ai or not
