From Viz: Leo Aoi looks like a crazy animal with wild eyes, and he goes berserk whenever he feels threatened and sees blood. That doesn't stop animal-lover Yuiko Kubozuka from befriending him, however. In fact, Yuiko is the only person Leo will listen to when he has one of his violent fits...
Includes Extra Stories: Fly Cactus Summer Surprise
at first i thought it was a bit of annoying and a little boring but after 1-2 chapters i find it more and more interesting, its such a cute romantic manga, i may say, the romance wasn't really rushed or pushed, its actually in the person reading or point of view how the characters fell in love with each other though for me...
Spoiler (highlight to view)
it was actually obvious that they both have their growing feelings for each other through the chapters and how i love how leo said "i love you" to the heroine :)
i love this manga!! i just cant put it down... i finished reading this after 2 and a half days.. the plot is so unique and heart warming.... as expected of Motomi-sensei... his works never fails to entertain me (^v^)
I felt, hey, only two volumes. It won't take long to finish. It was painful. The character's aren't developed at all. The romance is rushed and unrealistic. And overall, it's too "perfect." I feel like this is evident in the short story at the end. Even after all the two characters supposedly went through, the romance seems so shallow.
I understand that it's pretty short. The original plot sounded somewhat interesting. A guy who turns into a beast?
If you want marshmellow fluff, go ahead and read it. If you want something with substance, you may want to stay away from this manga.
i totally love this manga! when i has done reading this manga, i just kept thinking about it. its qualities are so out of this world. its fantastic! i love motomi's work. after reading this manga i looked up all her other mangas, and they were just as wonderful as Beast Master. Fell in love with her mangas. I have to say if i hadnt read Beast Master, i would've never started read mangas. She is a fantastic mangaka!
Kyaaa~! Its soo cute!!! The character in this manga is two thumbs up!!! I love the plot of the story, and Leo is soo damn cute!!!! I always love motomi's art work as usual and the stories never failed to capture my heart! Love love!!! Recommend for light, happy and fun read! <3
I can't really say a lot about this. It's short, non-cliched and cute. Personally I didn't find it an unputadownable manga, but I enjoyed it all the same. The plot suited the length, it was easy to follow; overall a good read and I liked the main characters!
Not only is the mangaka so great for coming up with a heartwarming story on inner beauty, this one's a real killer as far as romance is concerned. It's short enough, which fits the story well.
I'm a total sucker for this (unfortunately rare) type of manga, where the main male protagonist is someone rather naive who has to be protected and... well.. cuddled. If you are looking for something like that, this should hit the spot The main male character is completely adorable and the female protagonist is rather unique I thought, in that she diverges from the weak-willed cliche and just follows her heart. Lovely and really heart-warming. I loved it!
OMG!!So i did wrong.I thought Kyousuke Motomi is male. Thanks for the info. Its really confused me before coz lots of info regarding her gender. So i duno which one is for real.now i know Kyosuke Motomi is female.
Just like my title says this was a heartwarming story. I loved how the characters were drawn and portrayed, there was action, suspense and comedy together with romance (that became more apparent nearer the end). It's great to have a manga that's both awesome and completed, everyone hates slow scanlations and it always seems to be the really exciting mangas that don't have a conclusion to read! Definitely recommended: it was great how the main female character was strong and not whiny and that there wasn't a load of chapters covering jealousy and love triangles blah blah, it was very much focused on the two main characters which I liked.
