I think this is a great shoujo! Its sad and happy at the same time! The characters are all complex human beings, and not just some plain half hearted ones. You can see a main female who can fight her own battles, Mitsuki has so much strength!
I have to agree that the "Eichi-kuuun!" thing was annoying! But that way i felt closer to takuto! lol!
This manga has so much strength and love, in a way that only Arina could do! You can feel the passion and the pain of mitsuki going thought your own heart!
Its a MASTERPIECE, from a genious author who can make a great plot, living characters and still make the art cutier than we could ever imagine!
PS: I like the manga hundred times more than the anime.

I finished the whole series, and it's good. I liked the plot and all, but the ending felt kind of empty because it was soooooooooo happy. It felt absolutely overdone for me because it ended with everyone happy in one way or another. So, I liked the plot and story up till the last volume, but the ending left me unsatisfied.

This is one of the best manga i ever read. I love the story flows and twist in the middle of the story. But i hate the ending xo much...
Yes, it's happy ending, but i hope something more in the end. And mitsuki must with eichi not takuto.
But i still love it and i gave 10

I'm truly amazed as to how brilliant this manga is. First of all, not only does it balance romance, music and comedy but also character development and plot twists. The story itself is really inspiring as it captures the beauty of dreams and living to the fullest. I really don't know how else to describe such a captivating and genius manga except that i definitely highly recommend it and it's a manga you will never forget.
Spectacular.

It's okay but I really don't like the ending. The main character is also somewhat irritating and the story is just too childish for me. One thing that I liked about it is the really impressive artwork, if you want a cute manga, you should read this.

Wow, this series is just amazing. I have both read the whole series and watched the whole anime. The two are very different, but just as touching. While reading the scanlations I must have cried over 15 different times by the end. This story is a really good tear jerker if you are feeling down and just want to cry. But even if you don't want to cry, I still sugest that you read it!

I read somewhere that the ending was supposed to be kinda sad, so I didn't really want to read this manga, but then... well i did. XDD And I LOVED it. The ending WAS NOT sad or anything, it was really good, so it surprised me. biggrin So my conclusion is: READ IT! ^^

I really enjoyed this. It brings up many different emotions that swing from exceedingly happy to tragically sad. The story is just beautiful, with pretty decent plot twists thrown in. The artwork was amazing, though it was a lot harder to tell with the shoddy cleaning job from the scans I was reading. heh. It's a really good story though. There were times when it moved too quickly for me to follow, however. Might have just been the scans. The ending was pretty surprising.
I'd recommend it for fans of the genres here.

I should have known who sensei was based on her art work but i was still surprised. I watched the anime before reading the manga but am glad i did because i could see the difference more clearly and i have to say that i like tha manga better. Perhaps because it gave a clear message on what she chose to be and what became of her after surgery and all. The art was nice as usual for sensei but the story perhaps because in the anime it was more detailed on the music aspect i felt it went a bit too quickly without sometimes explanations.
