Description

This is the first manga I have read that they main character was not nearly as interesting as the side characters. Eve was by far the most interesting person in the manga, and got way too little time in the series. Not the worst manga by far, but could have been much better.

The manga reminded me a lot about Trigun

It was really fun. There were a few fight scenes where you hope that it end quickly, but the last 10 chapters were amazing

I was thinking of giving it an 8.3 but the ending made it a 9.3

this was one of the most fun manga's i've read in a while. i liked it for the fact that it had an interesting story that got you interested and while at the same time retaining its fun humorous atmosphere. also i liked it for the fact that unlike a lot of action manga's out there the main character was so skilled and powerful. most other manga's have the hero gain some incredible power or amazing skill to make him a match for the final villain, whereas in black cat train was head and shoulders above the competition and the villain was the one who had to power up to stand a chance. it has its cliches and similarities to other manga's of a similar type but it does it so well you can't help but let it be because it's still fun to read. in my completely biased opinion i would give it a 10+, but in my more objective opinion it probably deserves a 7.5. thus i balance the my average in its favor.

This is truely one of the best manga ever created. But its ending decreased it from a 9 to a 10. Dont get me wrong- its an ending yet not a fitting on for such a great manga

No, it won't win any prizes. Nor is it original or inspiring.
But what you get is good clean fun, great action, incredibly cute girls and impressive character artwork in general.
Read this if you want brainless fun, and you won't be disappointed.

It's funny how people like to make fun of action/adventure based manga and go "Oh it's just a typical [insert stereotypical description] manga". I mean, come on, it's the title's THEME for god's sake. It's for the same exact reason that people who say Death Note is too wordy or plot intensive (and thus boring) are idiots. Or they just want some love from their own kind (i.e. the typical popular-manga hater).

KeroVivi, what can i say? it's a good manga, for one, i think it's alot better than hunter x hunter. who knows? maybe hunter x hunter copied black cat. if you read more, than you whould know how much worse hunter x hunter is.

A nice and simple shounen/action manga. The art is very good, the characters are likeable and it is entertaining to read. Although it is a prety long series, I never got bored and that's rare.

I love it. Even though it's quite a conventional shonen jump manga, it's highly addictive and fun. It's a shame translators have lost interest in it...
