Zettai Kareshi was a good mnaga. Just what I'd expecteds from Yuu Watase, but the ending was very heartbreaking. I believe it deserves a ten, but I'll minus .5 because it wasn't an ending I had hoped for.

This is one of the very few Yuu Watase mangas that i didn't hate! sure, the main character kind of bugged me (as all Yuu Watase characters seem to do, haha), but the story and the art more the made up for it. still, like most people here, I was a little disappointed with the ending, however it did seem appropriate for the plot. It was probably better than a boring sappy ending with everyone happy, which I hate that even more than sad ones.

although before I finished reading the series I rated it as a 6. But as I got more into it , I completely fell in love with it. It is so touching I love it. Especially in the end I actually cried. A perfect 10 for this.

this manga was one of the best manga's i've ever read. it's funny, yet touching. i think it had a great ending, since it left the reader emotional. i cried so hard in the ending >< and for a few days, i couldn't even look at the other volumes. yes, this is a great manga, but i kinda hope they don't make this into an anime series since anime doesn't turn out as well as manga >_O

The manga is pretty funny,
I kinda predicted that Night won't last forever because of his hardware but still

The draws are amazing D:
also good to laugh D:
good drama =o

and in the end, there is no such thing as perfect :P *kills everyone with reality o.o*

The manga is cute but I just found myself supporting the protagonist with another guy, not the doll. Maybe he's just too perfect, despite that being the premise? The other characters just interested me more than he did.
Still love the manga and recommend it to anyone who is into shoujo.

I think the author did a rushed job with this series. While keeping the same number of volumes, some of the irrelevant arcs could have been skipped. The series also does not focus at all on Night's near-human transformation. Also, there was no romantic progression between Night and Riiko. Riiko fell in love right away and stayed that way till the end. In such respect, the live action drama does a far better, might as well say an amazing job in overcoming these shortcomings. Riiko cannot accept Night because it's a robot and takes a while before accepting him only when she realizes that he has overcome his programmed self. Night, on the other hand, is always struggling to overcome his robotic nature to get close to Riiko. His struggle and eventual success in developing human ego, and his efforts to make Riiko happy are what's missing in the manga. In the end, it even makes Riiko lament that she should have been nicer to Night and understood his feelings sooner. All these events and progression makes the ending far more sadder than the manga. Of course the manga came first and the author didn't have this in mind, but if you watch the drama the manga just appears too bland.

This is the manga that swept me into the world of manga and anime. I have the whole series and it was just so fun and interesting that i would remmend anyone looking for a comedic love manga to read this one! It will hook you and then make you cry at the end. It was such a surprise. After reading this manga I wanted to go on a dates like they had! Still love the series so much and read it when the internet is down.

I can't really say much about this since I haven't read the manga in a year or two (I'm forgetful). The art was nice, I loved Night; the girl is a bit annoying. The next door neighbor is my favorite; sucker for those. The whole dating-robot was...unusual for me, so that's a first.
