Poor Mugi Tadano! Heartbroken after his girlfriend moves away, he takes a summer job at his friend Kazuki's beachside snack bar/hotel on a tropical island. It seems like the perfect plan - until he meets Yuu, who might just be the cutest person that Mugi has ever seen.

I gave this manga a 7 because while the manga started off pretty good, it started getting really boring and i mean REALLY BORING. I wont spoil to much but nothing happens after some major romantic developments, I gave it a decent review because the beginning was a decent read. Also the art manages to get worse...much worse I find it hard to look at the characters now and it's not even that the artist got lazy or something, the damn drawing style just became incredibly stupid. W.e though 7 for decent start.

There is a reason why its so many chapters in. The story does drag in parts, thats how it is for every manga at some point. What you get out of pastell is a unique story with interesting characters. Which is what we are all looking for right? There are some truly awesome moments so far, and its not even done. Whats better is that the characters evolve! They change around each other and what not.

There's fan service every now and then but not enough to make it silly, The art is amazing, like none iver ever seen before. the settings used in this manga are from the real world place. (the Author lived there as a child)
I wait every month for a new chapter to come out, this is really the only manga I do that for.

I have read many manga. Many of them I am still waiting for new chapters to come out. Some I have finished. Well I started this one a couple days ago and I have to say I LOVE IT. It's super funny and the main character Mugi Tadano is not that complex. Usually, in manga like this, the main character is usually a super complex character who battles with himself over who he should be with this girl or that girl, but Mugi is different. He loves Yuu and that's it lol. Well, I love it and don't really care if it has ecchi because i know that why some people bitch about certain mangas. It's just a regular slice of life manga that has some good art.

15 volumes and its still ongoing?? when is this series gonna end? i mean the feelings between Yuu and Mugi are always the same, but noone dare confess.. this situation is pretty annoying imo.. i'd hope we could at least see some more about Yuu's side of the romance, yet we just get to meet new and useless charas who keep saying Y&M make a nice couple togheter, aahh the only reason im still folowing all of this is the art and the fanservice, the plot already died long ago (i swear, if yuu ends up saying she fell in love at first sight, i'm really going to Japan to kill Kobayashi:-D)

great laid-back ecchi rom-com

a very nice ecchi/comedy/romance in slice-of-life fashion. one of few mangas that gives a very 'homely' feeling, while having both ecchi/romance, which just add to the goodness. the main character is not the typical retard of these kinds of mangas, and the girls are also pretty good. the art style is different, but is well suited to this kind of story. pace is a bit slow, with the 1 a month releases, but that just enhances the laid-back feeling, though faster releases would have been nicer. overall, a great, and my favourite, slice-of-life ecchi rom-com.

For me, it is perfect in all aspect (story, comedy, art (cute!), speed (I'm a mole with a slow brain, so I like slow pace). This one is better than Parallel, Orange road.. I enjoy reading this story repeatedly smile Before this one, I was readying something like Berserk,..Maji,..Azumi,.. and last, beside this one, I'm following Open sesame, as good as this one.

Not one of the best, but definitely acceptable. Honestly, the story flows slowly, which ain't really the best option, but not bad actually.

The art is ok, quite cute actually, but sometimes too plain, to the point that you can't decipher each character's reaction to an event.

A longer carbon copy of Parallel, up to some extent. Harem-ish too (somewhat), but not unbelievably so. Ecchi scenes are rampant, but since the characters are geared up to be more cute than sexy, you won't react to it that much.
