since Hokuto slaped Chiwa. I mean, this a shoujo manga! what's the point? make girls understand that if they are being annoying you husband can slap you? that's just wrong, really. And If it wasn't like she was doing something so terrible, like you'd say "well, she was a bitch and that slap was rightful" nah, it was something along the lines :"get yourself woman", and maybe I'm overreacting, but I can't really support a manga where a poor young wife gets slaped for such thing, while she isn't anything but supporting of her husband, where it's suppoused to be about love, being together, and other random shoujo manga thing. One thing is the whole 'I don't want to have sex-but-I want in the end'/Dub-Con in some shoujo mangas, and other thing is Domestic Violence.
oh my god.. can they be any cuter..<3 love love love it.. i am usually the kind of person who only reads completed mangas..and now i know why i USED to do that.. i cannot wait for next chapter to come..
i like it :)
i lovee this josei manga i love the story line and its not like thoose usual josei married life that goes like 'hate =>love =>manga finished' no, the manga shows much more and what a woman faces in her own story i looove it and i loooove hakuto i'd love to grab him for a hubby xx
I read it, but don't actually enjoy it much. Chiwa is just spineless and quite annoying. Hokuto was a jerk to start with, but is the only character with actual growth in the manga. Chiwa is still the same crybaby who jumps to conclusions she's been since the first chapter. She's also not even slightly understanding about the feelings of her husband towards his past and family. I don't like how she's portrayed as right in the situations that come up. She's also pretty much a giant hypocrite

getting upset about him working with a former lover while she is working on herself and hiding it from him... really now.
Though his faults lie in still doing things that he probably knows will upset her. Then she gets upset and you find out again he's not doing what she suspects him of doing, but this pattern continues. She doesn't have much trust in him at all and is very insecure because of his actions . Their problems could be easily solved if they actually talked to each other honestly for once. It's definitely not an adult romance despite them being married. Her other manga Private Prince was a lot more enjoyable and you got the feeling the relationship was between equals.

Vaguely reminds me of another manga...
Whirlwind romance, it is. A lot of smut and romance, not much plot... Basically an idealized world for a hopeless romantic, weak-willed female who just want to meet the perfect guy, fall in love, have a lot of you-know-what and still feel insecure of the entire relationship.
I would actually think this how some shoujo manga was set out to be.. simple, no-nonsense, just romance and heartbreak so I wouldn't judge this story too harshly.
Still a good read if you like those stuff. Otherwise, avoid!
Not reading anymore
The latest chapter (chapter 28) all the main character does is cry, waaa Hokuto is cheating on me Hokuto is cheating on me that's all that happens. HE IS NOT CHEATING. I use to really like this manga but the sex isn't really tasteful it's more like let's do it because we need to put fan service into every single chapter and the storyline seems to be going no where as of yet. What is with Chiwa's crying anyway? It's so so so annoying and she always seems to make Hokuto mad. Then he turns into some violent person who practically storms out making you think they're over so so many times. This manga is ok until you get to the most recent chapters where the main character Chiwa becomes a typical shojo "heroine" and Hokuto violent and sort of masochistic. Don't read if violent guys and crybaby main leads are not your thing.

It's hard to describe what i think of this manga, but i like it overall. If you a fan of Josei with a shoujo feeling, this is perfect. It has the right amount of drama, that didn't make me want to bang my head against the wall. There are times though that i wanted to smack one or both main characters, but that was just because i wanted misunderstandings fixed right away.
Warning: This is not a manga to read chapter per chapter. I suggest waiting until it's fully completed or reading it by volume. Not only will it keep the story line fresh in your mind, but i feel it's easier to understand characters motivation.
i saw my little sister reading this series and i just have to give it a shot. And after reading it to ch 20 in a few hours i gotta] say this, I LOVE IT ALL THE WAY. DEFINALTY GOTTA BUY IT! Love the storyline, love thr characters and the plot and i love the comedy to it all. S THIS SERIES IS A ABSOLTE 10 in my book.
Honestly, I don't see what there's to like about this manga. A selfish male lead who does change, but still annoys me. A heroine with no brains at all. Annoying cliches. Along with more stupid characters.
Maybe I'm just a black sheep or something, but I just don't I just don't find this to be worth it.
At first seemed like a standard manga, then...
First two or three chapters were alright. Then it went down in the dumps once the mangaka decided to make the girl an idiot. The recent chapters are especially painful and rather degrading to women in general.
