Okay, I'm just curious about this so don't go on jumping me.
MF announced awhile ago about opening something called "Otakushops" tomorrow.
When someone asked where they get the money for the stuff.
The answer was: "We find some factories to make the product for us"
I personally asked: Exactly where are these products made? As in what country. I'm guessing China.
Will there be information on what quality and what material was used to make the products?
I've seen images of the t-shirts and I wouldn't want to buy a shirt if it's going to shrink, fade, or tear at the first wash.
Answer: well, You're totally don't worry about the quality of our clothes, u can try to ask some stuff of mf, they have already received our clothes
Personally, I would not support something like this.
What do you think about it?

I don't think anyone would care. I mean first and foremost, it's your decision whether or not you're going to buy their merchandise or not. If you do, then just be prepared for what the consequences of cheap production (assuming it is) might be.
Besides, shouldn't you create this thread on MangaFox since not all MangaUpdate users are MF readers? I bet it'd be more relevant if the thread was created there than here. And isn't this more of a personal opinion?

From what I heard, I believe Mangafox is owned and runned by a corporation, and get the majority of their money from ads and etc from their online viewer.
I'm surprised to hear to that they are going to use that money earned to open an online store, which makes me wonder about a even bigger question...
Would they be REAL OFFICIAL licensed goods?
Personally, I'm not really expecting them to be (though it'd be nice if they were) since yeah... >_>
But if they were just merchandise made using copyrighted images without permission for profit, I'm really not sure what to think anymore as this really "blurs the line" imo...

That grammar is just.... Aghh.... Ahhhh!!!! I can't stand it.
It looks/sounds really shady. Then again, I've never been a fan of MangaFox, especially its forum. It really doesn't seem professional since the guy (or girl) can't exactly speak properly.

MangaFox are commercial pirates and anyone who supports them should feel bad.
Nice of them to admit in that thread that they haven't got the rights to sell these things. Saves a lot of speculation:
From some of the talk on here (t-shirt designers and what not) I'm assuming you all are using mangaka artist's characters without permission from them to hawk unlicensed merchandise. Doing that is pretty scummy if true. I'd never support such a store.

It sounds very fishy. 🤨 I've always kind of avoided mf, so I didn't know about this store up until now. If they make these products without the consent of the mangakas it's rather bad. I wouldn't support that store either, but then again, I'm not the type to buy / wear merchandise like that. If it was a t-shirt I'd make it myself. 😛

The grammar reminds me of a scammer. lol There was a MMORPG I was playing and ALL, I mean all the scammers talked like that. lol It was their way of beating around the bush without asking strait out for your items/account I guess. Hide your motives and dirty deeds behind bad grammar. 🤣

Yes, it is so serious. Who the hell got the money here?
I don't have any account on MF, so i don't know what's happening there.
Judging by the way they answer the question above and Forte Atrox's, i can imagine what sort of people are working behind the company. But i won't talk too much, right or wrong. The fact is .. there are some people who are willing to buy their products.. whether they don't know or they don't care about this matter. And these people are their target market.
The best we can do is to spread the information so people (their prospective buyers) read it.
