I noticed that recently, the name Tazmo has popped up a few times. Millions of time in Stoptazmo.com. I saw their Bashing Tazmo reason list. I just want to get the opinion of the by standing site that is not involved. Tell me about this whole Tazmo incident and your opinion. Could it be that such a **** up person lives in this country? 😔

Honestly he really is the lowest of the low. Not only profiting from scanlators and fansubbers but even editing their works to suit his purposes. People who actually pay this guy money need to wise up or we could always ddos his ass has anyone thought about that? It could be fun or accuse him of going after children on the net put some sick pictures in his site and notify the relevant autorities and boom. Just some random ideas of mine 😎

whats really unbeliveable would be that although there has been much furore over this issue, his sites are still running and people are still lining up to get ripped off

Even though I disagree with what Tazmo is doing, I only stay a member of his site because I joined it over three years ago.

It used to be a good site to keep up on Naruto news and connect with others members. Somehow, over the years, it changed to focus on downloading the series.

Although, I only use it for conencting with other fans, and such, I do admit I tried out the plus service along time ago, when it first started. It was good, but I didn't feel paying for something that should be free was morally correct.

Actually his site was the first place I started to download naruto since he had all the chaps on http dl. Then I found out about what he was doing and the whole scanlation community and stopped visiting his site (though I am still a free member).

The funny thing is: that the first time I ever heard of this tazmo guy (or even his site) was after visiting stoptazmo...
And I seriously can't feel sorry for anyone who got ripped off in a membership (I feel that they kinda deserved it...), and if people stopped being morons and stopped using and supporting that site, well it will die off on it's own. But that won't happen as long as there are still people dumb enough to pay to download from there instead of taking 3 minutes of their time to visit the scanlators website and get it free... (and I feel that is a minimum of respect that the scanlators deserve).

A couple of questions:

(1) Cease and desist letters are fairly common in the anime/manga sphere, right? So how is this guy still in business? He is offering downloads for most of all the biggest manga/anime in the entire buisness--including licensed (Bleach, Naruto, FLCL, One Piece...)--so he's probably been asked to stop hosting stuff zillions of times. Why is he able to continue?

(2) Has anyone experienced/seen his credit deletion habits first-hand? I just want to make sure I'm not hating someone under false pretenses.

Ahh yes, whenever he puts up Naruto manga for d/l, it's not even the HQ version (HQ usually comes from Japflap). He just picks a random scan and hands it out to people.

Sorry Kaioh...was just really wondering about it...anyways if you want my two cents about Tazmo...whatever we say, we can't really make him do anything because we don't own anything that he's putting up. Yeah sure DDoS attacks on him would be nice but as long as people are ignorant about our community as a whole they'll still go to home as their source. I can't really say too much about what he's doing, he's just preying on the stupid people...that is a bad thing in itself but we tried to tell them and if they don't listen...then it's their loss.
