You'd have to go and buy it, but Dr. Master has put out Iron Wok Jan, and I absolutely love it. (I wouldn't recommend it for PETA members tho, as it involves slaughtering.) If you're into shoujo, try Kitchen Princess. But there is a dirth of cooking manga out there so anytime something new comes along, I'm very excited. 🙂

yes Iron Work Jan is good!! too bad in my place it's only out to Vol 5, maybe i can find the scanlation somewhere... and may be i will try Kitchen Princess too, thx a lot ^^

Antique Bakery has the yummiest desserts -- seriously, the art is so gorgeous that it borders on food porn. The shounen ai is very light, if that bothers you. Basically, the story focuses on four patissiers who are trying to get their cake shop off the ground.

There's also the story about two gay chefs, Umaimon Kuwasero. There is sex, but the analysis of the differences between the Japanese culinary tradition and French cuisine also interested me.

In shounen, there's Cooking Master Boy. People have already mentioned the other cooking titles I know of...

i think i will give Antique Bakery a shot but no for Umaimon Kuwasero (i don't like gay story) and for master cooking boy i already have the complete set include the master cooking boy 2 (dunno if the japanese name is different)

though that, but it seems to focus more to love and triangle love kind of thing. Wouldn't recommend it if you are trying to find stories like Yakiate Japan (aiming for his goal and dream etc.). But aside that it is one of the cooking mangas category, so try ^^

The ultimate cooking manga is Oishinbo, The Gourmet. Unfortunately, no one is scanlating it, but a couple episodes of the anime were subbed.

It's at 98 (!) volumes and still ongoing. This is detailed food manga, and centers on different dishes and methods of preparation and the best ingredients, etc.

ANBU subbed the first two episodes of the anime in 2004 (and the lead seiyuu was Inoue Kazuhiko LOL). I can't find them anywhere for you to download, but I do have them and could upload them somewhere if you suggested a place you could use. They're each about 120 Mb.

I don't have any scans of the manga however. 🙁

Im not really fond of cooking anime/manga, because it makes me drool every time I watch it, especially when Im hungry, gotta cook for myself, and also Im not good at cooking, seriously It drives me mad.
