I got here from the Baka-Updates.com. "A manga information site full of, uhm, manga information. Cool.", so I'm still here because I said "cool". And because it has the most information than the others, it's the best manga information site on the interwebz.

I'm pretty sure I found this site through BU.

I stayed because I was adding releases as a member and eventually through the heavens, Manick sent me an invite to add releases with admin. power instead of doing it the other way. I also used Jouhou and DailyManga religiously before MU but MU had the best of everything. Licensed releases were listed and it was a lot neater than DM. The site got updates pretty slowly compared to Jouhou in the beginning but it's great now.

But how did I get to baka-updates you might wonder? I don't remember very well...(it was a pretty long time ago...) But it was probably with googling (TM) and some luck.(yes Luck because I consider myself lucky to stumble here).

For a brief while I was using manganews.net for my manga updates, but they don't post licensed series. So I googled a site that could provide me with "manga updates" and no surprise I stumbled across here. I came across baka-updates pretty much the same way and had no idea the two were sister sites for a good half-year.

I'm still here because I am dependent to this site. Completely and utterly dependent.

i had a friend who used bakaupdates to find anime, so i checked there to see if they had anything for manga, so here i am now

why back in the day we didn't 'download', we had to swim to japan if we wanted fresh anime and that was only if...

i think it was a few months back, i was searching for a specific manga and wanted more info than animnewsnetwork had, so i typed it in the google search box and the site came up. i remember actually finding it pretty cute, the site's "baka-updates" and then from there every other manga i searched for i just came here, bookmarked the site to my favorites list, and stopped here everyday.

however when i wanted to keep track of series' i'd looked up and found out that i could do that here, i decided to register. I can't even remember why i didn't just register from the start, since i spent such a long time here. -_-' >.>
