I'm looking for a series with emphasis and details on acting, and not too much focus on romance preferably. something along the lines of

skip beat!
penguin revolution
honey hunt
cat street
and what's that show's name..the one with the newbie actress and the super rich and powerful guy (prime minister?)

best if there's one that focus on the acting skills...like skip beat..art style not too old please 🙂

(Can someone redirect me to the topic if this is already being discussed? I searched and couldn't find anything that fit. bad keywords maybe)

I think Love Celeb is the name of the one you're trying to remember.
You've named a lot of what I would suggest.

These topics might help:

tyty. it's love celeb alright... the plot is just going haywire currently...too much romance...hahah

those would be the right topics...but i guess there jut isn't enough manga around that really focus on acting skills...they are all shoujo romance >< sad... just read complex...it's pretty disappointing...is Paradise Kiss better?
