By this, I mean the image that you would prefer to appear on the profile of a manga series under "series info" here.
Also, do you prefer the USA volume cover (if available) or the volume cover in the original language (unless it was originally published in the US, of course)?

I was just wondering what everyone thought. Please explain your choice~

As for me, I've always tended to put up the cover of the first volume as published in the original language, unless I'm unable to find it or something like that. I also try to put up the first volume of the original publication, if possible. This is because I think the original first volume is what the mangaka meant to have as the introduction to a series, and it's more representative of the series as a whole (usually has the main character, etc.). Having it in the original language is also more authentic-feeling. Also, I think the first volume's cover is the most practical--there's no need to worry about spoilers or having to keep updating the image when a new volume comes out.

I don't tend to like covers, I like it when other more suiting images are used. Sometimes there are none and you are stuck with the cover anyhow.

I prefer the best looking one.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.

Normally, I would choose the first cover as well if the art stays consistent throughout the manga. But if it's not, then I feel that you should put up a cover that shows how the art of the manga currently is - to let the potential reader now that it will eventually change or something.
