I was reading a collection of one shots about best friends becoming lovers and one was Shounen-Ai and I thought, I've seen plenty of those, but I never see a Shounen-Ai where one character is actually straight and doesn't change. I think it'd be more realistic than all these stories where it just so happens that the love interest is always gay as well. Anything like shat? preferably not shoujo in style, but if it is I wont complain.

Also, I'd prefer it's related to the protagonist and not some side story.

I don't care if it's treated a comedic or dramatic either.

It's not exactly what you're looking for, but the title story of Illumination might interest you.

I also look for that kind ( in shoujo style as well).
I don't much if I read that kind or not, but I did read some stuff have do with best friend. I try to look for it.

the only one i can think off of the top of my head is Boku wa Sakana . It's a short oneshot. (not sure if its what your thinking of)
