i just noticed that alot of yaoi seems to depict BL as literally BL - most males tend to develop at least some facial hair as they go through puberty/etc
i was just curious if there's any yaoi at there where the Uke has a mustache, or if it's only the seme

in reality, if you go to japan or korea, or even in the US
boys do grow facial hair, but the 95% of them shave it off.
expecially in asia, i mean if a 20-40 years old man grow beard, people look at them weird. it's considered unsanitary and sloppy. not a style.
and for god i dont want to see yaoi of 45 years old men

that's not necessarilytrue, i've known quite few asian boys all under 20 with enough facial hair to dispute the yaoi genre (1in10 or so) lol, i guess it is a fashion thing though - although it adds another very unrealistic trait to yaoi manga! 😛

i'd still be interested in finding any mustache uke manga exist 😁

Uchida Kaoru - mangaka of aforementioned manga, I think s/he does a mustached ukes quite frequently, you might consider reading hir other work
Reversal of Love Talk - the older uke in the main story has a bit of charming chin-fuzz 🙂
Slave of Love - very much a mustached/bearded uke in the 2nd and 3rd stories of this collection (same title, Slave of Love and Revenge of Love)
Sex Pistols - Maximilian is a mustached/bearded uke now, as is the uke that pairs up with the Arabian prince hawk (!) in vol 5
Hide and Seek - haven't really read it but I know it has a bearded/mustached uke in there
Antique Bakery dj - Eien wa Arimasu ka? - what every fangirl always wanted, but it's kind of sad in the end... As you know Tachibana has a mustache, so his ukeness here counts...
Detective Bluecat - I'm pretty sure there's a mustached uke somewhere in there... Can't be sure who or where, but there definitely WAS one.
White Guardian - he switches, the guy with the mustache now used to be an uke once and they show the uke scenes with him, but he didn't have the mustache then... 🙁
I strongly suggest reading bara, a VERY high percentage (read: majority) of bara has mustached/bearded or just really hairy ukes. Try these mangakas: Takeshi Matsu, Tsukasa Matsuzaki, Shotarou Kojima and Gengoroh Tagame. They're all gay men themselves, so the sex they draw is realistic and the mustached/bearded ukes are very realistic too, physically speaking. I think ALL of them draw mustached ukes.

it's not that i particularly like or dislike mustache ukes, i think it's the character's personalities more than anything that are adorable and attractive, i just find it interesting that they're a rarity among what seems like the majority of yaoi, but... wow!

omg! i didn't know this was a manga! 😲 i watched and dled the whole season of the live action television comedy/drama it was funny and amazing! i definitely will read this, and i think you will really like the live action tv version if you liked the manga (Antique Cake Store)
also not a uke, but Cwens Quest's current vote incentive has innuendo that suggest possible mustache uke XD
