Well, Geisha were originally male so I was wondering if anyone knew of any good stories with a Taikomochi or male geisha. Or even just a entertainer at an Ochaya or a really high class Prostitute? Kabuki actors were almost always high class prostitues and especially the onnagata were very sought after by patrons. Anyone have any stories happening in a Kabuki theatre?

lol yah, actually that was the manga that i learned that kabuki actors used to be ancient prostitute.
actually it taught me about the exiatance of kabuki actor in general.

but i do remember that in ancient korean culture, clowns were the traveling prostitute. it seems that ancient culture had a double-edged meaning of "entertainment" don't they
