It's too much drama when a teen chick is worried about what a guy is thinking of her.
HS shoujo romance = too much drama.
But sure, a bit of drama is always nice, depending on the story.
They need to suffer. 😀

a long as it doesn't turn into a dramafest, then its still readable
| One Punch Man | Noblesse | Nanatsu no Taizai | Gun x Clover |
Went for the second choice as it is the most sound one
if we don't know the specifics. Too much drama can be plain
annoying if it is executed poorly and it probably is if there's
loads of it. Potentially it can be good, but talented people don't
make soap operas.
The show is just trolling you when
even the easiest tasks are turned into something cumbersome
and prolonged. Some people might enjoy it, but personally I
can't stand people who faceplant on every little thing, be they
real or fictional.

i chose a whole lot because i love stories that some reviewers have called over-dramatic, i.e. Nana. I like stories where there's always something going on. Like whenever one problem is solved, another one pops up. Or even better, when there's more than one problem at a time. Of course the drama has to be well executed. I hate stories where characters overreact for no reason, but that can happen in stories where there is barely in any drama as well as in stories that have tons of drama
Do love a bit of drama and rage, it does make the story more interesting. But an overdose is when problems keep on popping up one after the other with no breaks and there seems to be no end to them.
That's when it gets annoying.

I dislike romance but any amount of drama properly executed is okay. Not trying to imply that there isn't a limit to how much drama a series can to remain good.
But I also don't like drama based around misunderstandings. Ugh >_> (luckily haven't read one of those in awhile... Maybe I'm just avoiding them?)

i like drama in romance! most of the the mangas that remained in my head has bits of drama in them 🙂 and i also like the lovers facing hardships because i think that it makes them stronger. and come on... any manga just has to have some of that even comedy!

Here's how I feel about it. You can't have romance without drama. Drama is what makes the romance feel real. It's also what makes you come back wanting more. But there is such a thing as too much drama. At the moment, I can't think of any manga I've encountered to fit this but... scratch that. I think I might have stopped reading Vampire Knight for that reason...
But yeah, the more drama in the story the more likely you are to lose a percentage of the male demographic, even some of the females. People can only take so much before they say enough.
