Are there any series out there that are similar to the show Psych? This follows under my usual demands to find series that are at all similar.

I second that (Psychometer Eiji)

That manga is the very definition of Psychic Detective (in my opinion)

I didn't actually mean a series about a psychic detective, but these will still work. The second suggestions sounds a little bit like the Dead Zone.

What I wanted people to suggest were series similar to Psych.

I love the series Psych, but unfortunately I do not have any recommendations.
Instead I have a question to help clarify what you're looking for exactly..
You said you didn't mean a series about a psychic detective exactly, but similar to psych.

I think it may be helpful if you described what you were looking for in more detail rather than mentioning a tv series which not everyone would know.

For example, these things could describe psych.
-Deceptive Protagonist (lying about identity)
-Highly Observant Detective
-Buddy Comedy
-Highly referential to pop culture..

There's a lot more that fits in to describe Psych also..
Also, you said "I didn't actually mean a series about a psychic detective" but the title is "Psychic Detective" so that's a little confusing. >.<;

Pretty much, I'm looking for the stuff you just defined.

Also, the reason I made the title that way I did was as a reference to the running gag throughout the series of how everyone believes that he is a psychic when in truth he really isn't

That's kind of hard. Maybe:

Death Note ~ Yagami fools everyone about the investigation he's working on with his dad and his dad's detective coworkers... I haven't read it in a while but it's full of mind games.

Liar Game ~ this just might be the perfect thing you're looking for. It's mystery and mind games all around. No romance whatsoever. Then again Death Note had no romance technically... It's complicated.

Goth ~ let's see: deceptive protagonist(s). Check. Highly observant detective. Check. The other two, not really. It's a pretty serious manga.
