Hi all,
I'm looking for a manga where the love interest has some sort of disability. BUT, I've done a lot of research on this, and it seems a lot of the manga I've come across, is where the protagonist falls in love with and pursues the person who has a disability. This love interest usually has some issues that the protagonist helps them solve thus solidifying their relationship... or something along those line.
I'm looking for a manga where the love interest who has the disability falls in love FIRST and chases the protagonist. And in doing so, they teach the protagonist that love isn't really about superficial things like looks/style, but about something deeper. I want the person who has the disability to be pretty self-assured and be something that the protagonist doesn't immediately connect with or plans to have a romantic relationship, but somehow those feelings develop and it doesn't matter to the protagonist that this person has a disability.
I realize it's a bit of a tough request, but hey, major props to the person who can find me something that fits the bill
And that's it friends, Peace!

3 manga come in mind: Can't See Can't Hear But Love - Both have a disability, but this one might fit your request well The Friendly Winter - Again both have a disability of sorts, though there was very little in terms of romance so far Utopia - One character has a disability and the other only pretends to have one; Only a handful of chapters are translated

Not a manga, and maybe you've played it already, but the visual novel Katawa Shoujo probably has a route or two that fits your requirements. All the love interests have a disability of some sort, while the protagonist has a heart condition. It's very good.

I would recommend : Hakuji (the female lead will lose the sense of sight in the middle of the series) Anya Kouro (male lose the sense of sight)
I hope you find these suitable for you.
