I'm so fed up with female lead who cries and blush and easily manipulated by their male lover.

Being tough is different from a shouting-female characters like Chiwa of Hapi Mari or like the one in Prince's Cactus who had bad-temper ..I also didn't like cry-babies like Hana of Hana to Akuma.

Is there any other Shoujo/Josei or romantic manga who's female lead's personality like:

-Shizuku Mizutani from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun who has steady relationship with Haru.
-Kaya Satozuka from Midnight Secretary- who is kinda sensitive but put on a brave front?

  • the girl in Hanada--a bratty chick yet funny.
-Komaki Yukari from Junai Tokkou Taichou!- who decide to hide her feelings for the guy she likes??

Well I've read the ff and I think heroines from these manga are okay and i put on things I like about them.

-Annarasumanara(so focused on studying)
-Dengeki Daisy(loving someone with her whole heart)
-Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan(changes perspective for love)
-Hakuji(copes up from illnesses)
-Cat Street(character growth)
-Skipbeat(changed herself for revenge)
-Faster than a Kiss(eagerness to be love by sensei)
-Grand Sun(tough personality)
-Kingyo Sou(loving someone unconditionally)
-Solanin(coping up after the loss)
-Kieli(witty..observant)
-Tenshi Jannai( I personally like the crossdressing stuff)
-Sonnan Jannaio(can trash talk to annoying women)
-The Sleepy Residents of Birdcage Manor (eagerness)
-Mirai Nikki--Yandere!

Can you recommend some...No Yaoi or Yuri please.

skip beat she gets depressed every now and then but mostly just a really eccentric strong willed slightly psychotic chick. also most that try to manipulate her fail horribly. either because she notices or her reaction to it is insane and makes no sense.

oh and while it's not shoujo a lot of people found angel densetsu to have a bit of a shoujo-ish feel to it. also, while it takes a while for her to pop up in the story, the lead romantic interest isnt a pushover at all. she has a soft spot for the male lead, but he doesnt control her or anything. i should also mention that while the art is never normal(it's the creators style) it gets a lot better later on in comparison to the start

First, check out these two threads, they ought to match your requests:

awesome female lead

Feminist manga?

For more suggestions look at these posts of mine. Most of my recommendations should catch your interest because I can't stand whiny, weak-willed female leads, either. However, I can't guarantee for the remaining threads (ignore the commentaries):

Post a genre that you hate, and let others try to change your mind

A BG Manga...

If you still need more stuff to read, try manga by MORI Kaoru, OKAZAKI Mari, IKUEMI Ryou, YAMAKAWA Aiji, YAMASHITA Tomoko or KOMURA Ayumi; they all like to feature independent heroines.

like Akagami no Shirayukihime for shoujo?
or Akuma to Love Song?

you seem to only look for shoujo/josei so I'll throw in Yesterday, Yes a Day for josei (if I remeber correctly) and leave it at that.
good luck

If you want a psychologically tough female character, I recommend you to read all of
IKETANI Rikako
works, especially Six Half. 😀

He's dedicated to flowers:
very nice with a fighting girl that lives some kind of cinderela story but not.
Crazy girl Shin Bia:
another fighting girl, she's very emotionaly strong as well, not a little bit patetic in my opinion.

all, or at least most of, the manhwas by this author have very nice strong female leads.

Skip Beat:
at the very begining she's patetic, but she becomes the most amazing, probably my favorite female lead, the manga has a very nice story as well.

Saiunkoku Monogatari:
I just watched the anime but with it I can say it has a very strong female lead that goes after her dreams and wants to do things by herself.

Kuragehime:
strong in a differnt way, a very fun story.
