Six months isn't exactly what I'd call "soon"... But it's been nearly a year since the last release, so maybe it won't be so bad.

Yes, it will resume with two, maybe three chapters, after which we will once again get the infamous "until next time."

For some unknown reason I felt that Berserk was about due for a new release today. I mean, it's been a couple of months which seems just about right. Look online to see that it's been 333 days and I've still got another 3 months to wait...

Its unfortunate but I really doubt that Berserk will come out the month after the 6 part mini series. Though I really hope I am wrong. The thing they said is He will resume Berserk after the mini series however how long after the mini series is not said.... which is unfortunate. With 6 chapters in a row within the same year, I am willing to bet it will be months at least before the next Berserk comes out after this Mini series is completed and they wouldn't be lying saying it that way either cause they didn't say how long after it would actually be.
I wonder if anyone likes the new Mini Series. I tried but I couldn't personally like it at all though maybe some of his fans will. My issues with it are because its futuristic which is not my thing. Also the little cute girl and weirdly shaped man main characters are just odd. Honestly. I think his style changed so much from the beginning of berserk to now and with what is shown in the mini series, I fear that any Darkness left in berserk is about to be snuffed out in exchange for beautiful and pretty fantasy. It feels like it's attempting to cater to a different crowd.

I can hardly wait for the series to resume, though I really hope the series wraps up. Itwould be awful if it went away again and left the story hanging. I just want it all wrapped up.

Completing this manga would take at least another 200-300 chaps.Only thing we can do now is pray and hope that miura would get his passion for the manga back and continue it for another 10 yrs continuously without too many breaks.

You guys are seriously underestimating the power of eroges, moe moe, and lolis.

There's a better chance of the world ending than Miura finishing Berserk.

Hakusensha will publish this year's 15th issue of Young Animal on July 24. Miura's last published a chapter of the manga in Young Animal on September 26.

There was rumors that he will be publishing regularly again... but that I guess could be true after all the 4 chapters he put out last year were done pretty regularly before the hiatus. lol

No but really I am happy. Hopefully we will actually get a bit of Guts this year and maybe enough to complete a whole volume.

I'm pretty sure this will last about 5 chapters and then he'll find another distraction [xbox one maybe?] before forgetting about it again.

The last one was on 04 October 2014 and i actually wanted him to take a vacation for once in his life as his work ethics are out of control (one page of industry leading art per day) and would kill anyone who doesn’t work for Shonen Jump but he apparently didn´t 😐 .
He is getting older after all at age 48. Only in Japan... YM wouldn’t use monthly if they didn’t mean it for a prolonged period of time so i expect full on Elf Island after a form of resolution to Rickert´s tale. These are my 2 cents on the future content. Let´s see.

Regarding the breaks (both parts are repurposed ANN comments btw.):
Miura stated that Berserk is supposed to run about 50 volumes over @skullknigth so don´t get to excited gang as this will still take a decade or more. Sakamoto Shinichi (Innocent) is the only manga artist who is (way) faster than Miura while keeping a similar level of detail and Mori Kaoru (A Bride's Story) is equality gifted but she draws slower than Miura.
Inoue Takehiko (Real) for example is crazy good too but he uses less detailed backgrounds or skips them and slowed down too when the details increased.
My favorite artist is Frank Quitely and he works like a snail but this year´s Pax Americana which was 7 years in the making (he did other stuff too) may be the most finely crafter comic i ever saw. Some of the best Bande dessinée artists need one year to draw an album of about 50 (colored) pages so none of you who don´t read European know what slow looks like. Most A-level Mangaka are also famous for working all years and then 6 to 7 days a week so i don´t even kown what "fans" want sometime.
