A long time ago I read a manga but I've forgotten its name. It's about a girl who was in love with this man and she travelled through villages to find him. I think he was a famous warrior or something and once she found him she was rejected. I also remember that somewhere in the story she met a man who looked like a woman. The man was afraid of women and he thought that she was a man.

I think it's shoujo. LOL. I know it's romance, mystery. I lost all my files so I'm trying to remember all of the manga.

The synopsis is as I remember:
**Theres a classmate’s funeral after high school and then the heroine (who is emotionally strong,) goes as well as their old classmates. The mom of the deceased approached the heroine saying that she was her daughter’s best friend (her daughter told her mom) but in reality she wasn’t. But nonetheless she tried helping the mom figure out who was the boyfriend of her daughter, and why that daughter kept saying lies to her mother.

That was basically the plot! I do remember a few details though, so maybe it could help?

The heroine and this one guy always hung out together in the past
^ (backstory) the heroine decided she was going to drop her façade and act "free" for once and so she does and coincidentally meets the guy and the decide to go on an impromptu journey w/out any restrictions
The heroine's mother always has work
The hero can't eat eggs
The heroine’s hair is black and short
Her best friend is chubby
the “investigating gang” is one megane guy, some girl that was popular in high school, and a guy who was a “player” in high school (they were all interviewed to figure out the mystery at first)
the girl who died was a babysitter for her sensei’s son (and the sensei was believed to be having affairs with high school students)
