im looking for a protagonist like the one from Gun x Clover. Looks weak and tries to hide his strength but when you piss him off he shows his true colors. would like for it to be a male (nothing against females. they can be badass too) just wanted a male protagonist.

and i would like a comedy but a serious type manga will be ok too

Giving a quick glance, I'm recognizing Dendrobates, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, Trinity Blood, all fits.

Look for ones with hidden identities and stuff. Heck, even the first few volumes of Yu-Gi-Oh fits.

Stuff like Id, King of Hell, and many others fit partially as well. Like, they sometimes hide sometimes not?

One-punch man for comedy definitely ^^
