Hey, I'm looking for the name of a high school romance shoujo manga where the girl takes care of her crybaby/helpless/stupid childhood friend and she doesn't see him as a love interest/man. In reality he is smart and cool looking but he hides it behind the crybaby/helpless facade so she will continue to take care of him. One of the chapters is about her wanting to go on a group date with her girlfriend but the male lead purposely fails a test so she has to stay after school to help him study/ do his homework. Her girlfriend then finds out that he is putting on the helpless act when he quickly and easily does her homework for her so she could go to the group date by herself and leave the two leads alone together at school.

I know what you are talking about, and it's probably similar to 17-sai, Kiss to Dilemma. I'm going to go through some of the tags to see where it is on my reading list.
