Okay, sometimes I browse a mangaka's page and have a hard time trying to check out new titles cause I've already read a lot of their's. -_-;

So if you can have those little symbol things [the page for the reading list, the yellow ! mark for wishlist, etc etc] added to a mangaka's page so you can see which of their items you have on their reading list, that be cool. ;D

As an example, I'm going to use my idol's [;D] page~

A lot of that stuff is already on my reading / completed list. >_>; So... yea, those little symbols would be helpful if they showed up on mangaka's page.

I think this would help with those mangakas that have a lottt of series. ^^; Like Shinjo Mayu. I'm not even sure if I've read all her manga or not, and ATM because of the titles I don't always remember, I have to click to find out I already read it / dropped it / whatever.

Um... does this make sense? ^^;

It does make sense and I agree wholeheartedly.

PS You've got a nice Firefox theme, Dubby 😀 .

Hey i totally agree. that would be great!
it would also be cool if we could save the mangaka's page to a list - jus like we have wish list, reading list,etc for manga, it would be really cool if there were a mangaka list with all our favourite mangaka!

Thank you very much! I cannot have any other theme but that one. 🤣

that was the first thing I thought when I started using the mangaka pages! I meant to bring it up but I'm a lazy bum so I didn't. I'm glad you mentioned this.

I actually never thought about this till Dubby brought it up, what a genius idea.
I agree with everyone above me.

Hell yeah 😀
How about making them just like how series look on the series info page? (the little list symbols, title, genre, year and rating)

@Dubby: sometimes I wonder if you live in my mind or something, because it's now twice in a row that you've posted an idea just as I was about to. First with the "at least one release" thing, and now with this. "Great minds think alike" or something along those lines? Slash but you still get credit for actually bothering/remembering to post them.

I totally, completely second/third/whatever number we're at now, this idea. I think it's wonderful and would be really helpful, since this has been annoying me quite a lot of late. I also agree with pinkdreamar, it'd be awesome if we could save our favourite mangakas to lists as well. Maybe that list could also show new series by the them, the way our reading lists show updates?

Anyway, just piggybacking other peoples' ideas here, but it'd be great 😀

Nothing really left for me to say other than I like this suggestion and I think it will definitely be useful.

I agree =).

Edit: symbols on a scanlation group release page would be helpful as well.

To quote my self form Suggestion: Will Not Read Feature

Quote from prowider

I read somewhere that there was a “custom list” feature ware being implemented, some time in the future, or maybe…

New List Feature...
one extra list ?

It would be a grate feature, and if you can choose your own icon to the list, then problem solved.

if this feature also was implemented it would be a major improvment
😉

Agreed.

I was scrolling through one of my favorite H-Guru authors, and it was annoying and time wasting to go through and see if I had all his stuff listed or not. Then it turned out I did. I wasted like.. 15 minutes of my day.

I really support the above suggestions: I feel it'd make things easier for the readers. Though, I hope it wouldn't place too much load on the server.

It would also be great if there were also symbols/words on your wish list and reading list, showing whether the manga was scanlated completely or not. The reason is that I noticed quite a number of wish lists having at least 500 to 1000 items.

Thus, instead of having to click through many of them to check through every one of them, it'd be easier to figure out the status of a manga from a glance.
