This week's scanlation-related poll is from Nekomikoto. This is quite an interesting question, as I feel like fewer groups nowadays spend the time to redraw the missing stuff in the middle. In case you don't know 2 page spreads are, it's where the drawing spans over 2 pages in the original raw manga. Because of how the pages are printed, there's almost always a gap in the middle of the 2 pages where you have missing content, even if you de-bind a volume. So when you view a scanlation, what's your preference in how editors manage these spreads? (It usually doesn't affect officially released web-versions of manga since they have access to the original images from the publisher instead of being forced to scan a raw)

I guess bookworms like to read manga!
This week's fun poll was suggested by our member Thailin. Just pretend you're in a harem series. Who would you be? And before anyone asks, there's no "Other" option, so too bad. Choose something that's actually on the list.

This week's poll by mattfabb would actually work best if you could select multiple choices, but that's not possible with our current website, so deal with it. Just choose the option that most applies.

Some people didn't realize what "all other things being equal" means. Sigh...
Happy New Year!
This week's post comes from our member VawX. Let's assume you find a good completed series that has both an anime adaptation and a manga adaptation. With all other things being equal (such as quality, plot, etc), which media would you consume? I left out choices between which one was the original adaptation or which got farther in the plot, so this is just between the merits of still images vs. moving images.

I guess the smirk option is a bit unfair... I'm wondering what would've won if I took out that choice. Although "Fufufufu" did win of the other choices!
This week's fun poll was from Caedis. Obviously we can only do text since it's manga...

Lots of votes this time around, for a very controversial poll. Oddly enough, I'm surprised that the most popular option was "Nothing really bothers me"...
This week's poll is from our member Calamansi. What kind of offensive thing within manga just makes your blood boil? It pisses you off so much that you just can't stand it. It really could be all of the above, but just pick your worst one.

Now I'm curious how many people like the gender-bender type of series. Ranma 1/2, anyone? I guess if it's built into the series, it's okay, but if a series unexpectedly had a character change their gender, it'd be really weird.
This week's poll by StephKuran is a bit harder to pin down. Imagine your favorite manga character was changed by the author in some way. Which type of changes would annoy you the most or make you the most mad? It technically depends on why you like that character, but that's what the comments are for!
