I'm a huge fan of Humble Bundle, and the latest one deals with manga. I realize that many of you probably don't want to spend money to read manga, but this one supports charity. If you spend at least $20 USD, you'll get more or less the complete collections of these series:
Space Brothers
Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad
Love Hina
To Your Eternity
Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju
Parasyte
Your Lie in April
Princess Jellyfish

As residentgrigo suggested, our last age poll was a little over 6 years ago. Has the users of the site aged up? Or have people stopped reading manga and just gotten replaced by new people?

Now what makes an anime?
Our member vigorousjammer poses a question: what makes a manga? Is it a certain art style? Is it just the language? Is it Japanese culture? Is it something else? Of course the options in the poll aren't exhaustive and have a bunch of exclusions with "only", but choose the option that best fits you, and feel free to discuss the intricacies of your answer here in this thread!

DandelionLilyPetals suggested this followup poll. Instead of confessions, how about marriage proposals?

To be honest, when I'm reading novels I have a hard time keeping all the Korean and Chinese names straight.
In a few days is the infamous April Fools' Day (April 1st). At MU, we [color=red]WILL NOT[/color] tolerate any fake/joke releases being reported/announced to us (on any day, not just April Fools). If we, by accident, allow a fake release to get through, please report the mistake to us (either via a [sitelink=submit.html?act=add_change]Change Request[/sitelink] form, through the forum, post a comment in this news post, send me a private message, or you can email me at lambchopsil[at]mangaupdates[dot]com if you are not a registered member here).
As you have been warned against doing it, if we discover a person still attempting to post a joke release here, that person will be dealt with. Severe action will be taken upon that scanlation group.
Thank you for considering our request to remain as accurate as possible for our members.
This week's poll was suggested by Carmella. I'm actually not sure if this commonly happens anymore, but apparently it does because Carmella claimed "this has recently become a popular practice of a large-scale translations publisher." Didn't name the publisher though. The example I gave is from Cardcaptor Sakura.
