I'd like to say that this manga was a bit boring in all honesty but it wasn't that bad. It tells the story of an average guy named wakamatsu masato, with her sister named Miyuki, who also coincidentally has the same name with masato's crush, also called Miyuki. After being seperated for 6 years, she has changed and grown into a beautiful girl who masato doesn't recognize at first glance. And yes you guessed it right, they're not related by blood.
Now about the plot, Even though it seems that this is one of adachi's manga that doesn't have any kind of sport filler in it so adachi fast forward the time a bit quick to move up the plot than I would like it to be. There's some annoying character in it like the teacher and the father of one of the MC's love interest. They're doing this running gag of men being perverted morons like touching, stealing panties, peeking,etc. But considering the time when this manga was released, I could somehow tolerate it. It might distasteful to you but that's probably what mangakas used for their gags in shounen manga back in the 80s, anyway I digress. The point is there's a lot of filler with the running gags, and in the MC is being a wishy-washy kind of guy, up until the end you won't know who's he gonna choose cause up until that point he never really show any kind of SPECIAL affection or preference to either of his love interest. So it'll definitely make you sit at the edge of sit, well at least at the last 2 volume or so, cause the 1st-10st are just filled with fillers, well there are development but like I said, you won't be able to tell who's masato going to choose in the end from just reading the first volume, unlike many shoujo manga.
As for the art, it's typical Adachi's art from what I've seen from snippets of Adachi's Manga in reddit. It has the same art style like any other contemporary manga in the 80's. I like it personally, arts from the 80s feels, nostalgic to me, not too many features on the face or hair and overdramatic face reaction like today's manga.
Would I recommend this to you ? Well if you like adachi and want to see his manga without any sport filler by all means go ahead. For those of you who are new to adachi manga, well now you know what to expect if you read my insight about the plot above
