Overall story is okay but there's a lot of filler text

The overall story is interesting but the writing makes the story unbearably boring.

There's a lot of filler text wasted on the most simplist of things. For example, the author spends an entire page commenting on "scouting magic," like how it works, how that person is using it, how other students view it as useless magic, how her teammates thinks its useful nonetheless, why that scouting magic is called "Picnic switch" or how the main character smirks at it with no care in the world. Who needs such an over description of scouting magic? Seriously. Then at the end of the day, that magic never again mentioned in the novel...

The author keeps going back and forth explaining things that can just be skimmed, like the example above, which leads to a lot of boring jargons and suppositions.

What's more, the male lead is, I supposed, considered a tsundere? From the premise, he's supposed to come off as cold, calculative and experienced, but his actions and choices are always opposite of his "cold and indifferent" attitude to the point that it's fucking embarrassing and boring to read.

An interesting story

The novel starts off with an interesting plot, and continues on with twists all along the story. It's a rather enjoyable read, however the author's style is extremely basic, although easy to read.

A few characters are developped along the volumes ( 3 as of now ) but the remaining aren't. The main character's personnality can be considered annoying as he's the narrator, but at least enough explainations are given about it.
