Nice Story Halfway

Well, for half of the volumes, the story is quite nice and funny and all...but towards the ending, the story kinda ruined. Esp the ending. We still didn't know what's the motive for the Tea King forcing Darjeeling to comeback as a prisoner in the Tea Kingdom. Is the King love Darjeeling? Kinda shounen ai-ish if I may say. Too bad I really hate the ending. It's kinda abrupt. The special volume didn't help at all. It's only 3 chapters for the future story. But still, we still didn't know what happened in the past. Darjeeling and the other tea princes/ss of even the Heroine's friend didn't get mentioned anymore...*sigh* my poor eyes for reading this 25 volumes in just 4 days...without knowing the real ending...

Good Shojo

I've read half of the story so far.
The heroine is't as stupid as her "sisters" from others shojos. The art is good the plot is enjoyable, the SD chara are cute, and the balance between drama and comedy is well done.
Excellent, I'd recommend it.

There are of course, weird fantasy aspects to this story (pretty typical of shoujo manga) but I found what I read of the story rather interesting. Although this is one of Nampei Yamada's earlier works I still enjoyed the artwork as much as do her more recent stuff. It's really interesting to learn all about tea too, I noticed more now the different types of tea I drink now. I only wish I could finish the series as sadly all the groups who were scanlating Koucha Ouji dropped it.

Though it may look like a typical shoujo with lots of bishies, it is not.
The romance is just building up after several volumes. I actually torn one of the page in my manga because I'm too excited with the romance in here. Gya >_<
Also, you learn about tea in this manga so yeah, overall worth reading and though it's about 25 volumes, I feel like it is not enough to tell all the story

Cute Shoujo

A very cute, enjoyable shoujo manga. Although I haven't read much of it, I'd say that it's worth giving a go. The idea for the plot is different but the essence of shoujo romance is there - the cute guy with a normal girl who has a thing for tea.

I read this manga in another language a long time ago. Very funny. Classic Shoujo type dream of girl: a handsome boy at her beak and call. Even if you dont like shoujo this manga still can be enjoyable. Good art, good stories. 10.0 for Princes of Tea.
