Sayonara Watashi no Cramer is just a really excellently executed spokon manga.

The ensemble cast is used very well and each member feels distinct and unique from one another. Most have several sides to them and express these as the story stresses and pushes them.
None take over the story from the others. They all feel age appropriate and in character throughout.

The rival teams are all well written and feel like there was as much thought put into them as there was into the main cast. They are developed and competent and feel just as skilled and intelligent in universe as the protagonists are. If not more so.
Rival players can get excellent development and character study and none are written lazily so that you just hate them as a reader. They are genuine fans of the sport as much as the heroes and have the same right to win as any other.

The choreography is well done throughout. Space on the field is well represented and kicks/headers/etc are all well shown. Movements and strategies all make sense to the reader and issues with the strategies implemented are noticeable and later are even brought up in-story in a way that greatly connects the reader and the cast.
The art has an excellent intensity to it throughout, that really makes the play feel real and as though its out in front of you.

Definitely worth the read if you want a great sports manga. Shows a definite love for the sport and some real care went into the work.
