Description
When the Demon Tribes led by a Demon King appeared and launched a massive war at mankind, all hope seems to be lost, until a brave group of heroes managed to turn the tide and even defeated the Demon King.
John Serieux, a mid-ranked soldier of World's Resistance against the demon's army, had fortunately been able to witness the Demon King's fall by the Heroes, but also was unfortunately killed a moment after. This series started real good but during the entire second half (since chapter 31) the tempo is awful. Many events going in different directions one right after the other, without the proper development, makes it feel like the author himself didn't know what kind of genre he wanted to make. The ending is extremely abrupt, not even rushed as there's literally no sign that it's about to end until the last two chapters. The last chapter contains an undigestible amount of lore information, which was clearly to be hinted somewhere during the story, maybe during side quests which were totally absent in the second half of the story. The lore itself is really cool and it would have been nice for the author to actually make good use of it and properly develop a story which definitely had potential.
this was a mercy killing, the author had no clue what he was writing and just threw together a mess of elements he liked / thought popular.

There are way too many stories with the exact same setting done better and on all kind of genres (cultivation, martial arts, war, magic, etc.), my recommendation to anyone would be to check those. That come to mind right now: "A returner's magic should be special", "Tales of Demons and Gods", "Volcanic Age" and "Tsuyokute New Saga" among many others, like those with a similar setting but with a female lead that seeks revenge and likewise lots with some other variations.

I tried to pick it up again after that a few times but to no avail, I lost all interest. Till that point it was the classic and by now cliched notion of a guy going to his past self to change a terrible event or future, it was not great but was decent, after the lolies it´s unreadable for me. In regards to translation: Read Hot Chocolate's scans of ch1-3 since LH's scans of those were "a hot mess" before picking LH's scans back up.
About the story: It's a more primitive version of Tsuyokute New Saga. They both have the NewGame+ synopsis in the Sword and Sorcery genre. It's just that Tsuyokute does it so much better in regards to pretty much every element of story building. Granted if you've caught up with Tsuyokute and need more of that fix, this story will somewhat appease your appetite as an alternative.

The TN they use isn't very good with english. I mean it's not just grammer......misplaced words things somewhat backward, etc...
Not even as good as the cliched chinglish.
If they want to use that TN.......then they REALLY need a good quality check reader/editor.
And I'm referring to the LHTranslation version.
The HotChocolate Scans version is actually fine. Go with that one.

Some of the worst grammar I have seen. I have nothing against the art i even like it. But reading it is so painful, I might be willing to pick it up again if they fix their grammar. Or I might just use it as a drinking game.
