I cried for him when she made him wait, I cried for her when he betrayed her. But I guess it was intended for him to not be a virgin when he ends up with her.

It was ok, but the main characters couldn't ever get the courage to tell their feelings to the other and after a while it becomes frustrating. Just a little bit of communication could of fixed everything so easily. 57 chapters of never ending misunderstandings compiled with dumb ideas that the main guy keeps getting, just makes this a frustrating read. Also, all the characters are a little ditzy and they don't really leave a lasting impression. Overall, if you like romance with some sex thrown in as well, it's worth a quick read.

Loved it

Was originally apprehensive about reading this manga as it is done by the same author who wrote Chisa x Pon (a NTR manga where the female mc sleeps with another guy other than the male mc).
Glad I did in the end.
The female lead is cute and male lead is kind and mature but has his own quirks. Quickly got attached to them and got thoroughly engaged in Shizuka's attempts to win over Ruka.
Waring, while humor and cute female behavior are major parts of this manga those looking for a light hearted romance should steer clear as cheating, insecurities and bad decisions are all highly prevalent in this manga.

The series may be much better then Chisa x Pon but the protagonists is ultimate as unlikable as her previous creations. His waifu to be Ruka is boring, utterly undefined and they share no chemistry together. The first act moves far too slow, the second act is a pointless derailment which shines a very bad light on the lead (he tries to have his cake and eat it too) and the last act has far too much drama out of nowhere. The resolution is inconclusive because a relationship need more then sex to survive but the art is at least perfectly fine. Pass and read Natsu no Zenjitsu (9/10 ) if you want to read a sex based drama as it bothers to define the characters and to developed the college setting.

This is simply one of best series I've read.
Firstly, it took my heart with nicely done illustrations. Like Natsu no Zenjitsu, is more realistic than typical manga, but with cute parts in the right places ... simply - great work.

Not so many girls around male lead, just meandering way to one love. It has nice ups and downs, facepalm moments, when you really want to shout and punch author and main character right in face, funny comedy parts, a lot of hot springs (but its not overfilled with nudity, though), enough, but balanced romance with not so out-of-whack situations (yeah, there are some f***ing coincidences - but it's still manga, and story must be pushed forward somehow).
And Grampa is really good character as a lead ! 🙂

I have only one problem, and it's last chapters.

I think that relationship between Ruka and Komai should get clearer, or it could be given a more time on a last pages, than their first sex (I understand its important, but ... I'd have liked it more:).

It's totally worth it, if you want to read hi-class breathtaking romance with really great illustrations.

This manga was extremely well done. The ups the downs. There was a point while I read this manga that I actually got moody and pissy with my family. A sign of being well done. The only thing I wish had been different was a little more time spent on the ending and showing us some more of that relationship. But I do understand the story was about the journey getting there and not the destination.

The MC has no spine. Based off various misunderstandings the MC makes decisions that are so bad that you just have to facepalm IRL. The story was "good" until a pivotal misunderstanding which the MC makes a move that personally I would think would be unforgivable. That twist seems so unrealistic from the rest of the situation. The only reason you continue to read this is because the girl isn't terrible. She's likeable unlike the MC.

I didn't expect much when I first picked up this series to read, and thought it was just some idiotic harem manga with a lot of boobs and nudity ( well you could expect that much judging the first volume cover ), but the manga turned out quite nice and heartfelt. The protagonist is a old geezer but he is sincere and nice, he of course does something stupid but understandable, not overly dramatic like typical romance manga. Everything is told in a slow pace, just like the protagonist's personality, nothing too dramatic and no over abusing smutty, a truly feel good manga that once you start reading it you would love the gentle feeling it bring and can't help but follow the two main character movement.
