cute, wonderful read about two individuals coming from different walks of life and perspective meeting and getting to know each other in an unexpected way, and going on to develop a deep and meaningful relationship with each other despite starting out with a status/power imbalance (celebrity vs non-celebrity+only a fan, more experienced, seasoned actor vs just a beginner/was just a college theater club member), something that they have to acknowledge throughout the series, and do work on, both benefitting from the resulting character growth and development. They learn to understand one another beyond fan-celebrity or sunbae-hoobae. Understand each other as two adults weaving a relationship to make it last—cuz they’re in love.
They learn how to compromise on certain things and respect boundaries in their relationship while also pushing each other forward to improvement. All while being the impossibly cute, head-over-heels in love couple that they are.
I will say that Fanboy, as the MC, undergoes a lot more character development, as he learns more about acting and what it means to pursue it, while also learning more about being in a romantic relationship with someone(it is his first one), particularly when that someone is much more famous and experienced in the field he is trying to pursue.

i loved getting to know all the characters in this series, from Fanboy’s friends and their love troubles, to his mvp sister, to the other aspiring and successful actors Fanboy gets to know in his acting gigs starting out.
Star Park and Fanboy Kim are both very hardworking, kind, and thoughtful people who were made for each other. Most of the conflict between them is because they care so much about each other. I could read more about them forever if miss cheomji would only write more. Maybe a love so pure, so sweet, so healthy and unquestionable isn’t realistic, but gaddamit if my relationships don’t have good elements of theirs in it.

It's so boring tbh,I dropped it after 15 chapter.
Well it's seem a safe healthy read and I'm a fan of a healthy stories but this one is so boring + I'm not attached to any of leads 😩
I don't like how the fan boy guy who looks like a 10 years old girl freaked out over every damn thing, typical annoying supposed cute character persona, he overreacting all the time and it's so annoying to like him or watch him + it's just painfully so unrealistic, everyone are so nice, pure and good , a fairytale and I think it's more interesting for younger audience that's why I'm not going to rank it bcz I'm sure it's a nice read for many ppl.

The art was simplistic, done in a cute style without getting bogged down with a bunch of details. The plot itself was a sweet love story, starting with a friendship and developing into a caring romance between the two. It has some simple tropes, but doesn't delve too deeply into drama and instead stays refreshing and light-hearted. The chapters are fairly short compared to most manhwa, so even though there are about 170 it goes by very quickly.

There are two main story arcs, before they get together and after. The romance between the two is very PG, they barely allude to anything adult (like blushing at the idea of sharing a bed, with no mention of having sex) and even the kisses are fairly sparse. Because of that, this is a great BL manhwa that is safe for younger readers.

Despite preferring more complicated art and more physical romance, I greatly enjoyed this manhwa. It was quite uplifting and left me feeling all warm and fuzzy.

I'm in the cusp of season 2 and really enjoying it so far. It's really cute, and the chapters are super easy to eat up. Both Star and Fanboy are really likable characters that are fleshed out. I also liked how they delve into the difficulties of acting as a career.

I was put off by the art at first, I thought they kinda looked like children or something... but it grows on you. Once I got used to it, I started to think they looked really adorable and detailed.
The english version is a few chapters behind, in Korea season 1 already ended, but so far (an from what I can make out of the raws) the story is well-paced, the plot is interesting, the characters are unique, and it feels light and cute overall.
