God lord does this really have those early 2000's Yaoi vibes to it. Ryuuji has the prettiest eyelashes and the most lushious, flowy hair. Typical Uke shit. Baba is not the best human being when it comes to Ryuuji's feelings, but that's nothing new for BL in general. What's not okay for BL in general is a lack of wanting to communicate, but harboring feelings the whole time. This doesn't feel like a slowburn, it just feels like people being stubbornly stupid.

I'm more concerned about the yaoi hands/anatomy in what are supposed to be the touching moments really kinda messes that up. There's a particular sexy scene and I'm getting confused on what Ryuuji's legs were doing because they were splayed in the furthest direction with both feet turning outwards. Like some of the other people here, I also don't really see the chemistry between Ryuuji and Baba-san. ALSO, I can't take Baba-san seriously with his name, just a personal thing. And they both happen to end up in the same school, 5 years later. Like... too convenient and not even in a cool way. And Ryuuji doing blushy, embarrassed chibi-baka things? Overdone in the story.

The second story happens and it opens with the most CURSED yaoi proportions with like a wheelbarrow position, but the characters have VERY tiny heads. There's some age stuff going on, I don't mind it, I'm degen. I don't really remember much of what was going on here because it's a oneshot and the characters weren't exciting.

I Usually Like Drama...

but this was just so forced. It started off good but somehow there was a lack in story development. I'm usually crazy about dramatic stories similar to The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese and the like. There was drama, insecurity, jealousy in this one, but it was just too superficially handled. It would have been great to know the motives for their relationship to fall apart, for instance. Furthermore the art was mediocre at best. So nah, don't waste your time reading this one.

Shallow

I didn't dislike the plot or the characters, and the art was good too, but there was still something missing. The story felt incredibly shallow and disconnected. There were a lot of scenes where we jump into the future randomly from one page to another, leaving the reader confused as to what happened in the meantime.
Also, the story progressed way too fast and anything that was put in as an obstacle was nothing major and gone again soon.
I liked the drama but it would have needed much more impact, and the characters needed more depth for it to be a really good manga.

I'd only recommend it to fans of the mangaka or people who don't mind a manga that has a shallow story flow that is easily forgotten.

Even though this manga is not the type of manga that i search, but this manga is quite satisfied me! smile
The story is so sraight forward and so lovely. And with the misunderstanding, it's surely funny and adorable sweet! I sure have a good eyes for this moment, because when i seen the cover in this site, i already dare to read this manga without a doubt. Hm... yummy! So refreshing, so gooodd~! Nothing really disappointed me! Love it! ♥

Well, I kind of agree yet disagree that Baba didn't work hard to get Aoyama back. Towards the end, Baba expresses how much he regrets having hurt Aoyama in the past and would work towards loving him in a way it was only meant for him. Then, we see that he waited outside of Aoyama's place because Aoyama wouldn't answer his phone (which he clearly would've never done before). I would've liked this to be a lot longer so as to give us Baba's perspective on everything, both past and present. I think it's rather unfair how we only have Aoyama's perspective to go by. Still, it was good to know a little about their story since they left a rather strong impression in me from their appearances in Furachi na Bokura; though this was a bit disappointing, to be completely honest.

I actually come back to this sometimes and read it all over again. I don't think it's boring, quite the opposite actually. I liked Aoyama's look and personality, he looked lovely and sometimes I like that in an uke.

I agree about their facial expression being beautifully drawn and showing full emotion. Nicely done.

This story was pretty boring to me, since it didn't explain things very well. The story didn't give a lasting impact on me, and Baba won Aoyama back way too easy. I don't get why Aoyama would love Baba back so easily when Baba used to cheat on him.
Truth be told, I would've prefered it if the story just ended with the first chapter as a oneshot. Aoyama sort of annoys me as a very typical uke.

Pretty Bishounen Hair is the Highlight

I wasn't convinced of any character development on Baba's part by story's end. The whole point of a well written story is to have some sort of climax/confrontation that results in a realization or change. Seems like nothing much of anything happened other than Ryuuji is in for more heartbreak...

Story aside, Ryuuji is illustrated beautifully with wavy curls that any bishounen lover would want to stare at, imagining reaching out to grab a firm hold of...

The side story was mildly amusing, and that was the mangaka's goal - to amuse. I was mostly bored though; none of the characters really made me want to commit to them. Most of the dialogue was flat, but I did like this message said with great angst by the young uke: "A stupid brat and a great grown-up have the same feelings when they love someone."

Annoyingly, Baba looks like Satoshi and Ryuuji looks like Akigawa. Completely.

For those who didn't notice, Baba didn't "complain" because he wasn't sure of his own feelings. He experienced things that he thought were love before. That's why he didn't say anyting, it just...didn't feel right.
Anyway, that's why I have to agree with huggybear1218 about ukes' power ..they can change the world..I mean the semes xD
