Maybe it's just my preference

The fact that she's a streamer that doesn't do anything but eat, put on make-up, and talk is a complete miss for me. It rubs you the wrong way because you think she's gotta be a little narcissistic to be able to be an online personality, thinking that people like and want to see this. Informative podcasts and niche channels dedicated to their craft are enjoyable, but she doesn't do anything. She's literally just selling the appeal of herself. It's unreal to me that the male lead who is described as refreshing, pure, and unfamiliar with technology would spend hours of his day to watch her eat and talk, saying nothing of substance. He even kicks up conversation about it with his coworkers. One of the supporting cast goes as far to say that she's an internet idol. Something so low-effort such as mukbang livestreams is on par with an idol? Uh sure. It's just sad. In Saiki Kusuo's words, this is truly a digital dark age. I get that obscure channels and small audiences makes for an intimate experience, but she doesn't strike me as the type and like I said, she's bringing nothing to the table. If it were a matter of easy money, it'd make more sense. Maybe I'd like it better if she were a haughty girl that doesn't pretend to be some humble, composed chick who wants an "ordinary life" and the male lead was a hikikomori who clings to her livestreams. At least that would be more believable and much more cute in my eyes. Also explaining her life story in the first chapter instead of having it unfold is a lot less interesting to read. This is a far cry from Sukitte ii na yo. Apparently it's in the same universe; I guess the mangaka and the publisher is really trying to milk the franchise.
