The art and comedy are fantastic. The story is extremely cliché but definitely not unreadable. There are times the plot takes a detour and stagnates (albeit, not for long) but once you can get past that, it’s a very worthwhile read. Regardless, I loved every page of it, in all its hackneyed glory.
Interesting beginning and end, but for some reason I didn't like the middle of it too much.
The art's good – scratch that, very good; but the premise is paper-thin – that is, the author is using cliche archetypes. A bullied girl with rare red hair, who has somehow never had a friend before? It could have been interesting with either a semblance of realism, or something that hasn't been done a zillion times.
