I liked the beginning 40 chapters, but it just got ridiculous after that. At that time, the MC is a level 1 fresh out of boot camp fng. He barely knows anything at all about the world. Somehow he manages to block a high-level monster's attack and the novel is downhill from there. Once I reached the point where even a princess is suddenly listening to what he says I just couldn't read anymore. That's just way too far from what would really happen in such a situation, which is he we would be told to sit the hell down and shut up. Honestly, them even bringing him along is absurd enough as it is.
His "nine eyes" ability also takes away from the story, as well. The author frequently uses it as a way to advance the plot with little to no reasoning given to the reader other than "hurr durr, it's gold!!! hurr durr, it's red/black!!!"

The story is very good. The development of MCs power is very good as the story progresses. The side characters are also good. The story pacing is just right. There is good charcter development. There are a little bit of downs but overall its very good.
