Interesting storyline. At some point, it felt like a slice of life type of manhwa despite all the fantastical elements. There are certain aspects that were dragged out way too long, hence it couldn't get a higher rating. The romance was also cut short because of the pacing, and the ending felt a bit unsatisfactory, even if it was a solid closure.

I expected a run-of-the-mill fantasy fluff, I found gold instead. The ML isn't a douchebag, I guess author made him seem like it at the start for the dramatic effect. This webtoon is VERY reminiscent of the art style as well as maturity of Cheese in the Trap. So much so that I think this is the same author using a different pen name/ a disciple.

I should also mention that this author, who is likely female is REALLY good at action scenes. That alone would have been enough for me to give this a high rating considering this is so rare among josei/shoujo genre. But fear not ladies, this isn't an overly action packed manga, though there is action where there is a need.

The female lead and her struggles so far [chapter 36] feel absurdly real. Her relatable issues sharply contrasts with the surreal supernatural plot in the best possible way. From what I can tell both leads will be developed so well, that regardless which ship you jump on, you will get some 2nd lead syndrome pangs at the end.
I am the type to sniff out the likely ML immediately and jump on that ship, but the 2nd lead is being developed so well that I'm starting to support that ship as well!!
