Won't find in this one things you can't find in other series and its axed so, it might have been decent but as it is it's pretty mediocre, I also doubt it would have been great if continued.

i like the comedy and the character interactions. they are all very generic but done nicely. pity this got axed, because i would have stay with this series for 100 more chapters. but, even if this is ended prematurely, the end is not too bad. it is only 21 chapters anyhow, so you wont waste too many time if you decide that the ending severely decrease the quality of the story.

It was quite good, i really enjoyed it until chapter 18, but then, you really start to feel the pressure on the mangaka to finish it. the ending is SO rushed, the hyper-end-boss is introduced and beaten nearly on the same page, and the epic end battle takes like half a page. I was quite disappointed by the end, last 3 chapters feel like they have been written and drawn in 5 minutes.

Bad.: the mangaka got rushed to finish the story at the 4 volume, I was looking forward to see the character all grown up in high school or college'
Good.: Nice overall story - Pretty art - The main male lead act his age (inexperience "but straight") this is Shounen but the guy has a brain Who would have thought!? - The support characters are well portrayed.
So! nice but short' .. the problem reside in the tone of the story it was aimed to younger audience but told in a way more compelling to mature audiences, at the same time toned down! & ended up falling short on both points, nonetheless an enjoyable read!!

The plot set up is pretty similar to ushio to tora. I won't compare the two however, as each has it's own flaws and weaknesses, but if you liked ushio to tora, you might like this. And if you didn't like ushio to tora because of the art, but dug the story, this might be your cup of tea still.

The flow-path of the panels and this nonsense of a story makes it hard to follow what's happening at times; and what I can understand quite often feels really generic. Regardless, the essentials for a decent manga series is all assembled neatly into the first three volumes and had I actually cared, I might even recommend it to others.

I admit my prime enjoyment comes from the artwork. The girls are pretty cute, with their petite and formly chests, those wide eyes and that sparkly happiness I feel in my groins... As negative as it sounds, I don't believe that to be a shortcoming. If a series like this had bad art, I wouldn't bother writing a comment.

There's a little bit of character growth, and the comedy this early on focuses on the character interactions. But I wouldn't pass this off as slice-of-life. It's still a shounen series at its heart and has a bit of action and over-the-top antics to balance out the scale.

I think what I really seek from this series is more character development from the main protagonist.

I thought this one is going to be some typical shounen like Elemental Gerad (read it and you'll see why). Well, it had some typical moments but the mangaka decided to go beyond those cliches in one chapter and make something different. Overall, it was excellent. I love the art and the story so far.
