Description

"Why am I naked in bed with another man…?" Jaewoo reluctantly attends his high school reunion and he can't wait to leave. But after seeing someone he thought he'd never meet again, he ends up drinking himself into a stupor. The next day, Jaewoo wakes up next to Siyeon, the boy who was pining after him throughout high school. This is Siyeon's chance to pounce! He offers Jaewoo a deal, one month of dating, after which things can end amicably, no questions asked. But as rumors start spreading about the circumstances surrounding the reunion, Jaewoo starts becoming suspicious of Siyeon's true intentions…

i don't get the hype

i seriously feel insane reading these comments. did we read a different story from each other?

0 red flags is craaaazy considering how every smut scene has jaewoo (bottom) saying wait and stop several times without siyeon (the top) caring whatsoever and bulldozing along anyway. their very first sexual encounter has siyeon hardly drunk (if at all) while jaewoo is blackout drunk. there is also of course a lack of lube and adequate preparation, as well, even though the top is well endowed. and for the last time, let's say it together: it isn't consensual just because the body is reacting, even including climaxing!! if someone says no or stop, let alone EVERY TIME the couple has sex... yeah, that's dubious consent and siyeon needs to back off when jaewoo says to. jesus...

the art style gets kinda erm... a bit too "yaoi hands" for my tastes. their bodies are huge and their heads are so small. literally in one of the first chapters siyeon is resting his head in his hand and his hand is like the size of his whole entire head.

the plot is whatever. the backstory for siyeon just didn't seem like it was followed through on at all or had enough bearing on the story.

this gets a 4, and even that's generous. there's not a ton of plus sides to the whole thing.

It's such a great trope to develop: an obsessed puppy top and a mature bottom! Both of them were manly and could not live without each other.

The artist did a fantastic job at everything and the short chapters were just right. This has to be one of my favorite short stories I've read~

I see other ppl mentioning that Siyeon could be yandere but he is like just on the borderline of an overly attached boyfriend area but he never completely controls Jaewoo. If you're a fan of the creator's other DoD you can see the prototype and that they def have a certain type of LI for their works like devoted puppy crying tops but it never goes 100% red flag here.

I feel like we don't get a good sense of their relationship even if we accept it's only 10 ch like they move in together extremely fast and the ending it's like the fastest romance ever. Fortunately, it doesn't drag the plot out with too many misunderstandings with the limited time so that's a positive too.

DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVES!!! The only thing that I hate about this story is how short this is but rest are KANPEKI! I rarely like the semes on yaoi stories but this one has dark pupper type which I’m so whipped about! I love the artstyle as well that I love uke’s (Jaewoo) expressions. So cute!

My fave part is definitely the last part where the seme cries and went out the building to find the uke barefooted and a mess because he though that the uke was seeing someone aside from him. Thinking that the uke is tired. So cute and heart-wrenching in a good way!

Gosh I loved it...it's also the authors debut series. My only gripe is that I wish the story was longer!!! I wish they explored more of Siyeon being a rich kid or us getting stories of Jewoo meeting Siyeon's family again...(I don't remember if he had met them).
I loved the art and some panels still stick in my mind

(e.g. Siyeon towering over a sleeping Jewoo when the former classmate called or the scene of Siyeon crying in the side stories). Overall I loved it and actually teared up at certain moments.
Started reading the authors other work 'Dawn of the Dragon' and I have great expectations.

I found it so weird how Siyeon told Jewoo that he didn't remember him...but then we find out that oh no, he definitely remembered him and only did that because he wanted to start fresh and was so insecure. I enjoyed how possessive he was of Jewoo and enjoyed Jewoo's personality.
I'm really surprised he didn't let the cat out of the bag and said oh yeah I remember you when Jewoo remembered him in the bathroom...felt like that would have made Siyeon immediately happy that even after all these years Jewoo remembered him...also surprised that Jewoo didn't go to Siyeon for support after his grandma died...even though Siyeon was his main friend and visited with him his grandma....but also as a highschooler the shock must have been great and he just had to run away and not even let Siyeon know...and Jewoo tried contacting Siyeon afterwards regretting running away??? But couldn't get in touch?? T_T
